Please tell me I am not the only one stressing out and boiling over HOW RELEVANT Harumasa's lore is becoming patch after patch. Especially after 1.6-1.7.

The sacrifice for greater good themes, the serum, the "power players" and TOPS being involved, Harumasa himself claiming that Pubsec found something relating organ trafficking by TOPS and the case of the ether booster drug uuuuuh

Both Seth and Vivian saying "No one deserves to be a sacrifice !"

Like HELLO ?!?!?! IF THAT'S NOT A DIRECT CALLBACK THEN WHAT IS IT ?!?!?!?! WHY DO I BARELY SEE ANYONE TALKING ABOUT THIS WHILE IT IS DRIVING ME MAD

My theory so far is that the serum used to create Sacrifices might be made from the spinal fluid of people with Etheric Aptitude Regression Syndrom — And I am so stressed about how darker this already dark shit is getting

thinking about it again but i still think the boss fight in harumasa's agent story uses some great subtle gameplay-story integration. like the way the edges of the screen blur followed but the audio dampening shortly after both fits with in universe how harumasa is reaching his limit and losing those senses and also even if you dont quite pick up on that detail specifically it still very quickly gives you a clue that something is wrong.
