My name is Khalil, and I'm from Gaza.

I never imagined I'd be asking for help this way. But now, I have no choice.

My younger siblings go to bed hungry every night. We haven't had enough food for weeks. Even a bag of flour is out of our reach—a kilogram now costs $50, and we simply can't afford it.

Yesterday, we saw what was happening in the barracks in Rafah where people had gone to collect aid. The bombing targeted people demanding food. They were bombed, and many people were killed.

And I understood. Because I would have done the same thing if it meant feeding my siblings.

My younger sister has developed severe anemia from malnutrition. The doctor warned us: "If they don't get enough food soon, they could suffer permanent damage, like polio, or worse."

We've already lost our home. We sleep wherever we can find shelter from the bombs. But this slow hunger? It's worse. It's cruel.

Seeing your siblings crying from hunger, and having nothing to offer them, is unbearable.

Please, I beg you from the bottom of my heart.

Help us buy just the basics—flour, rice, anything to survive.

My manager was like. "I found the best video on YouTube" and I said "oh?" And he said it's called "one hour of silence periodically interrupted by the sound of a metal pole clanking" and proceeded to play it

2. Infrastructure is destroyed — bakeries, farms, and supply chains have collapsed under bombardment.

3. Water and power are gone — families can’t prepare formula or preserve food without electricity or clean water.

It has come to my attention that some people do not know about the genocide in Ghazzah. I don't know how they are not aware of it over the past 20 months, but they express ignorance when you ask them. There is another group where they do know about it - at least from a surface level - but they are not well informed on the harsh conditions families would go through everyday. They don't know that a blockade is in place. They don't know that aid is restricted, and when it does become available, it is sold at exorbitant prices!

Even with the BDS movement, there are those who don't know if they should boycott Microsoft, Coco Cola, or other targeted companies.

So it makes me wonder if these people are choosing to not know. Yes, there is much less attention on Ghazzah. It is about Iran and the settler colony now. This is intentional. Journalists are targeted and murdered. International press is not allowed. But why do we need the news when we have easy access to social media? There are pictures, testimonies, and videos right at our fingertips!
