Aversa walked gingerly toward the child, not wanting to scare him. When she got close enough, she knelt down again. "You seem lost. Do you want me to help you? Or at least lead you in the right direction?" Aversa was obviously worried for Henry, not wanting him to be upset in any way.

"Henry? What happened to you? Are you hurt?"

"L-leave me alone…" he said, in what was possibly the tiniest voice he’d ever have.  She probably didn’t even hear him, it was that tiny.
