A recent project that is now on display at the Smith Gallery in Stirling http://www.smithartgalleryandmuseum.co.uk/. Artist Malcolm Robertson http://www.malcolmrobertson.com/ was commissioned to create a sculpture to commemorate The Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297. William Wallace and Andrew De Moray lead a small Scottish army to victory against a much larger English attack. Malcolm asked Dotsan to convert a scan of his maquette into a 3D file that could be developed and 3D printed for display. Due to its size the model had to be broken down into a number of parts and reassembled. Shapeways were able to provide the #3dprint The images show the development in Rhino from the original scan to the final display model. The Brothers in Arms exhibition is on view at the Smith Art Gallery and Museum until 2nd Sept, fingers crossed it will raise funds for the real sculpture. #stirling #williamwallace #andrewdemoray #Scotland #3Dprinting#shapeways #Rhino3d

Available here https://goo.gl/BofWfu The son of a merchant, Lord Crow was privileged and attended the Winged School of Economics where he was awarded the Golden Feather of excellence for his work with Pecking. During the Rule of the Hound Empire, Lord Crow was a lead figure in the Murder Alliance, responsible for the Crowisim and Freeception schools of thought. The school’s principles were a reaction to Houndism which believed property, power and pleasure were the principles that gave order to all. The Murder Alliance with their inner vision saw the suffering and limits caused by Houndism. Throughout his life Lord Crow organized protests that demanded Crowisim be taught in schools. Over time Crowisim grew to be a social movement and the biggest opposition to the ruling Hounds. With Freeception the practice of not fearing the self. He helped empower animals to live freer and counter the Houndism principles. Crowism was one of the main forces that led to the over throw of the Hound Empire during the Great Hound Wars Lord Crow is best known for his quote “you don’t need wings to fly”.

A 200mm high 3D printed white version of the The Vitruvian Man drawing by Leonardo Da Vinci. This is a homage to my time in Italy which was the first location and experiment in working remotely as a digital nomad. The Drawing is used on the back of a 1 Euro coin. A 100mm wall mounted version is also available and a 100mm  desk version can be ordered,  the small versions are available in black and white, the prints looks fantastic on a desk or shelf.

I did notice there was some slight warping on the edges on the cube but these disapered once it was sat on surface.
