Ahmed is a former senior security engineer for an unnamed international technology company, with his LinkedIn profile listing him as a former employee at Amazon. His specialized skills in reverse engineering smart contracts and blockchain audits were reportedly used in the execution of the attack. #CyberSecurity #CryptocurrencyTheft #CyberCrime 🔎 Although the victim was not officially named, the description of the hack points towards Crema Finance, a Solana-based exchange. The hack occurred around the same date (July 2 and 3, 2022) as Ahmed is alleged to have targeted an unnamed exchange. Post the hack, the attacker returned about $8 million in cryptocurrency, keeping the rest.
