I knew about being born under certain moon phases changing what kind of khajiit they are but really the twin moon gods was not something I was very familiar with

What is up with the moons and how the khajiit see the moons and the, twin,, gods???

Khajiit think of them as twin gods because they believe that they are stillborn dieties who were said to have been rocked in the sky by Khenarthi, which cause their eyes to open brighter so their mother(Fadomai) wouldn't realise that they have passed. Moon sugar is actually strongly connected with this tale, as a way to connect with the moons.

The moon also determines the way Khajiiti children are born. Under a different phase of the moons, they can be born a kitten, a humanoid, etc. When a Khajiit child is born under the Eclipse, they're said to have a closer connection to the moon.

I think that's a big part of their culture because it predicts how their children will grow up. There's two moons(Masser and Secunda), but the Khajiit think there's a third one. Khajiit call them Jode, Jone, and the Dark Moon.

Khajiit also believe that the moons protect them from whatever else is out there in Nirn, which is also probably a big reason they're so significant.

Unpopular opinion: The Elder Scrolls 6 is going to be in Elsweyr, not Hammerfell.

I've seen a lot of people speculate that the main antagonists in TES VI are going to be the Thalmor/Aldmeri Dominion, and technically as of all Elsweyr is under Thalmor control at the time of the events of Skyrim, where as only part of Hammerfell is under their control, so it would make so much sense.

Also, Elsweyr has deserts and land features that look like what's shown in the teaser trailer. Hammerfell does have some similar things, but imo Elsweyr looks closer.

And about the leaked dev Pinterest stuff. Elsweyr can have similar fashion to that as well!!

That being said, it could be possible for TES VI to take place in both Elsweyr AND Hammerfell. Previous Elder Scrolls games (specifically Arena & Daggerfall) have taken place in multiple provinces, so there's definitely a chance that could be the case.
