Have you ever/would you ever study the affects of your fear toxin on the environment?

While I can't say I've ever formally studied it, or ever will it has certainly been a point of...contention between Dr. Isley and I. I don't care very much to study how it affects the environment, I care to know how it affects people.

Although I can't say I'm unaware of the complaints that I've made the Gotham harbor significantly more toxic, and to that all I can say is that I can't bear all of the blame. After all by the time I had moved to this city it was already unsafe.

Explanation:

Text for this blog will be in purple, so everything in character is purple and everything in your defult tumblr is just mun talking.

I'm going to be increadibly honest, Jonathan is 34 in this because I wanted it to be towards the beginning of his work as scarecrow, so we're all collectively going to pretend that doesn't mean he was born in 1990.

Rough outline of the events that led up to him becoming scarecrow, mostly of this is from the new 52: Jonathan grew up being neglected by his mother and being expiremented on by his father (leading to his fixation on fear,) when Jonathan was 16 his father had a heart attack after locking Jonathan in a dark room to study his fear. Jonathan was left there and unaware of his fathers death until he was found and let out.

After his fathers death he was sent to live with his great-grandparents who were highly religious, leading to Jonathan leaving for collage as soon as possible and moving to Gotham at 17. He got his doctorate at 21 in psychology and behavioral science at Gotham University, going on to work at Arkham Asylum and later become a professor at Gotham University.

At the point in time of making this he's around 34, he's been Scarecrow for a few years and been in and out of Arkham, at the time of making this he's not in Arkham because if he was how would he get tumblr

Some of his lore and especially his voice is based on Scarecrow from Rouges! the podcast, the rest in based in the usual comic book lore, mainly new 52 for the backstory and parts of the long halloween (might add some stuff from the long halloween, the last halloween as that releases.)

Boundaries:

- Jonathan is an adult but I am a minor, so please do not be weird.

- my Scarecrow is aroace, if you want to try and flirt with him feel free ig but it's not really going to get you anywhere (no sexual aks though, if it's romantic I don't care)

- I'm dyslexic, if you see spelling mistakes that won't change the meaning of the sentance, you don't need to point them out

- NO BATCEST. I don’t care how you rationalize it, I don’t want to see BruceXDick, DickXJason, DickXTim, or anything else.

- don’t ship adults and minors!

- no proships (Incest, Minors and adults, if you want to ship just morally grey things like some "dark romances" with kinks in them I don't care, but if it's incest, pedophillia, grooming, extremely weird age gaps (ie: barely 18-very early 20’s and someone 30+ especially when one has known the other since they were a child,) don't interact)

- no homophobia
