concept of a final/monstrous form for strahd - the tiercel? the drake? the raven?

(undecided on its title, ill leave that up to my dm )

a hulking feathered beast, its form resembling that of a raven, or perhaps a dragon. from its neck hangs glimmering ornamentation, chains and jewels innumerable, embedded and emerging from the skin. from the rot of its chest reach desperate pale limbs, offering, gesticulating, reaching to seize, tearing into one another, tearing into their host.

in all the chaos of that night, paloma insisted no harm come to the boy. in the end though, the best he can offer doru is abandonment and whatever fleeting chance at survival the woods near lake zarovich can offer.
