I've been going through the b3 main storyline to refresh my memory and I got to tea for three and it got me to thinking how moon (my hero) specifically would react finding out the kid theyve been hanging out with was the daughter of sepulchure of all people.

theyd be shocked, outraged, horrified, appalled. every negative word imaginable at the very thought that their mortal enemy, who they thought had died years ago.... fucks.

"oh no I sold this weapon to make space & now i want to use it. let me quest for it again.

oh no I dont have the element I need to breeze through this other quest let me find out how to get a weapon with that element- oh I can buy it but I dont have enough gold!

let me farm for gold for the next few days and forget all about that first quest."

tonight’s dragonfable release cleared my skin, raised my grades, and cured my depression

other highlights:

-hero telling seppy he should get his chest wound ‘probably looked at’ awkwardly

-seppy’s nickname for his daughter being ‘Gravy’

-when seppy found out hero was frozen he smiled so much for so long that gravelynn was worried about him

-seppy calls gravelynn ‘princess’ and ‘sweetie’ so much that my cavaties have cavities 

-sepulchure literally saying this about hero when lynn asks how he knows them (I CAUGHT THAT REFERENCE, TOMIX)

You know what they need in dragonfable color custom? Accessory color in addition to base and trim, like in aqworlds. That way you don’t have to color coordinate with something that doesn’t change color

I was replaying b1 orb quests & I got to olaf’s party & I remembered my favorite piece of dialogue in the whole game

I know it technically isn't a quest or anything but I would die if the df team revamped the dragon customization options... completely change the heads, add some new wings & tails, more coloring options?

@frosttrix he did say that but I had assumed that meant existing quests like the death day quests. I'm wondering if there will be future aegis quests at all or for one decision or the other (since it probably isn't likely they can release two different versions of the same quest depending on if the hero has eaten aegis or not)

& @icestar0 he did say there would be a one time reversal but idr if he said whether it's free or not

with secundus’ lair & the fleshweaver class release as imminent as it gets in df… I have a lot of questions regarding tomix’s announcement that the decision is permanent…

does that mean there won’t be any new releases for aegis (like the death day quest) bc the fleshweaver class? Will future aegis quests be through fleshweaver (i.e. after we eat him we gain his memories & finally SEE his death & who killed him)?

also -probably not since not everyone will choose to become a fleshweaver, myself included- a tiny thought I had was what if akanthus was the person who killed aegis? I’m not gonna go so far as to call this a theory but the Drama of it all

My Reaction to Recent Release of DragonFable Part 3

I have to apologize for being salty about Jaania’s present ealier. To be honest, I didn’t go to Battleon Forum very often so I have no idea that Tomix had been observing the reaction of people on forum to plan the release. This news shocked me too. I know Jaania absolutely had no idea about The Treacherous Plan that her lackeys made. And I know she was oblivious about the Manaphages, Akanthus’s plans, and also Amadeus’s false monthly reports which might fooled her somehow. (Yeah, Tomix said Amadeus’s monthly reports didn’t say the entire truth.) Her intention of controlling magic and ceasing the dangerous use of magic is correct. But the question is … do Hero and Townspeople know? We played DragonFable and saw the event as the perspective of “God”, not the Hero and townspeople. Of course, we will consider Jaania was innocent. However, do the Hero know?  Or more importantly, do the townspeople know? Citizens knew nothing about Jaania and her order. They only knew Jaania was an evil lady who chained innocent magical creatures and held them imprisoned. Do they know Jaania has nothing to do with Thorns of Rose? Do they know Akanthus was behind every mayhem? Do they know Jaania may disprove the action of releasing Manaphages? The answer is no. They know nothing. So When Jaania showed up, it was totally understandable that they had sudden rage against Jaania. It was justified anger.  Imagine you had your friends or family being held in prison by Jaania, can you still remain calm and reasonable when Jaania showed up after the Black Winter War? I thought in their shoes and I think … they had the right to be angry with Jaania. Not everyone know everything like the Hero does. Sorry for rambling but this is my thought.
