Sorry ive been missing, ive been working on stuff thats taking *forever*

However i did finish one thing i can post! Ive seriously hated the official dp refs for so many reasons; bad colors, weird proportions, crappy lines, straight up getting details wrong, etc. So i edited and redid a bunch of them to be more canon accurate or just look better! ("canon accurate" being a loose description here, the show is so dang inconsistent-)

I also created a bonus of a standing val suit ref using/based on the current one, and two fanon refs; one is vals suit but using her actual proportions, and the other was getting rid of dani's hips lmao

This is obviously just the main cast, though i do plan to eventually add more(speaking of, if theres specific characters anyone wants to request go ahead. Ill even do fake refs w/o a base to work with(the character has to at least have shown up in-show though so i have a reference), however those will definitely take a lot longer)

I've seen people who think the fandom made up the body horror and gore aspects of Danny Phantom so... here's an imageset of canon body horror and gore moments! Including Skulker's robogore because yes.

You may be asking, "why are those images of ectoplasm all over the lab gore and/or body horror?" and the answer is simple: That's Technus. Or it was Technus, before he got hit by some Fenton weaponry.

I'm suprised no one posted this here yet. An interesting interview about what could have been if it was an adult show ( quote from the article):

“If it was an older show, it absolutely would have been Danny hanging on to his mortal coil for both selfish reasons and the people he loved,” Marmel continues. “But [when you’re making a] kids’ show you don't want to go, ‘Hey kids! Good morning! Here’s mortality!’ Butch has his own backstory — it’s in the song! — and that’s canon. But in my head, it allowed me to write Danny with a little more depth than just, 'I'm inexperienced and sometimes dumb!’ No, you’re grabbing life by the horns because you've already experienced what it's like to not be a part of it.”

I really like those fics where Lancer interacts with Phantom, especially the ones where Lancer has the heart dropping realization that he’s still a kid. A dead kid. So here’s some instances of Phantom and Lancer interacting! (involving the whole “Phantom’s limited to ghost speak” thing)

•Lancer actually taught Phantom sign language when he tried talking to him, but he kept talking in ghost speak. Some students were mute, so learning sign language was a must as a teacher.

•Phantom starts appearing in Lancer’s office to rest more and more often. Lancer has a bean bag chair in his office for students, and sometimes in the late afternoon, Phsntom will float in, wave, and take a nap.

•Phantom brought a ghost blob to him once when he was stressed. Just placed it on the desk and gestured at it like “Take it. It’s yours.”

•Phantom has a certain “word” in ghost speak for Lancer. He thinks it’s his name, but really it means something along the lines of “the teacher who’s the safest and most fun to annoy”.

•Phantom is now following him to and from his car at the school at the end of the day and is getting closer more often. He suspects the ghost kid is getting attached.

•Phantom randomly stopped showing up, but once he returned, he pointed at his face and smiled. He’d suddenly grown fangs! They weren’t very big, but definitely noticeable, and he suddenly had freckles that oddly looked like they were grouped in constellations? Maybe it was a ghost thing. Whatever it was, he seemed happy to show Lancer.

•Lancer helping Phantom through a panic attack!

•Lancer gets to meet Phantom’s ghost allies!

•Lancer gets to meet Danielle!

•Phantom eventually starts randomly poking him or requesting a hug.

AU where highly poisonous things just start tasting delicious to Danny. To the point where he starts grazing on local vegetation just to see what has the best flavor. Getting weirder and weirder cravings for things that should absolutely NOT be eaten.

Things that will kill you.

Sam is fucking delighted. She wants to know what all the highly dangerous things in her greenhouse taste like to Danny and starts keeping a journal. Maybe she can grow his favorites in higher quanties. As a treat.

But like. Imagine if Casper had a botany class. And someone stayed after school to water everything. Then just caught him casually munching on Bittersweet Nightshade.

The idea of Valerie finding out shit about Phantom and/or Cujo through Danny Fentons tiktoks is hilarious to me.

( @hannahmanderr @underforeversgrace see I don’t lie, he is the ghost king in shared cujostody au :) it took a while but it’s real :))

I also like to imagine that all the ghosts know not to fuck around when Danny is recording a tiktok.

It's incredible the amount of plot holes in Danny Phantom that are easily fixed if only the plot were a little darker.

Like Tucker's fear of hospitals and doctors from Doctor's Disorders, for example.

To be precise, the fact that Danny had apparently no idea that Tucker goes downright catatonic whenever he passes in front of the nurse's office as a result of his fear of anything medical related but Sam did. Especially since Danny and Tucker have known each other for as long as they've known Sam, if not longer.

If the plot were a little bit darker/more mature and didn't shy away from heavy topics like human mortality or that Danny actually died in the accident and came back to (half) life, this would all have a very simple explanation.

Danny didn't know about Tucker's fear of hospitals because it's a recent thing, while Sam does because she was there when it happened.

In other words, if you ask me, Tucker could have developed his fear after Danny's accident. After spending who knows how long inside a hospital waiting for news of his best friend's recovery, with each passing second spent there being a constant reminder of the possibility that Danny might not make it. Thus, his fear would be a result of anything medical reminding him of those agonising times and of the fear he felt at the idea of losing his best friend forever. And Sam would know about it but not Danny because she was right there by Tucker's side as they both waited while Danny was being treated and remained unaware of the world going on around him.

And just like that, you fix a plot hole, and add layers to the story, the characters and their interpersonal dynamics in one fell swoop.
