This article talks about the war between PC’s vs gaming consoles is already over. PC’s are the so called “future” and I have to say I truly agree with this. There is so much more versatility with computers now. In the right hands you overclock a PC, meaning make it run faster to process high end video games. Even though the PS4 and Xbox One are considered great advancements in the video game market they talk about how they have basic processors. Are you a computer gamer or console gamer? Which one do you think is better and why?

I know this is topic that constantly comes up again and again but what do you guys think? Do you prefer the Xbox One or the PS4? Do you feel that the PS4 deserved to take all the categories that it took over the Xbox One?

Have you ever had time in your life that you were truly confused about your major? It’s something we all go through and contemplate on a daily basis. You ask yourself what all does it take to be a doctor? How much schooling does it take to get the degree? What are the best medical schools? What steps do I need to fulfill in order to be successful in my career? The list goes on forever on the number of questions we ask ourselves.
My mom asked an interesting question a while ago that really stuck with me. She said “Nick what are you going to do with your degree at Michigan State?” In the moment I couldn’t even think to respond because I know what I want to do but I don’t know the necessary steps to get there. So over the last few months I’ve been doing extensive research about game design. I figured that there are many people who face the same dilemma as do. I went on the Bureau of Labor Statistics to see what my career is considered in the outside world (multimedia artist), education necessary to work in the field, salary, and my work environment. Hope people find this to be helpful!!!

My grandma informed me about an opportunity for people who are interested in game design to participate in Full Sail University’s online program. My grandma had a friend whose child did this program and did well in it. In addition to her doing well she has a excellent job from doing it. I’m actually thinking about do this myself. I’m still not sure but I thought I’d share this with my fellow game designers!!!

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Game Review (By Nicholas Kemp)
Short Introduction:
Naruto Ultimate ninja is a role-playing Japanese fighting game based of the manga and anime series. Naruto, the main character, is a ninja in the Hidden Leaf village that travels and goes on missions eventually encountering enemies along the way.
This review is about the game Naruto Ultimate ninja for PlayStation 2. This game was introduced to world of gaming in 2005. I’ve not only played most if not all of the Naruto games but I’ve played them so much that I was able to develop and analyze points of the game that peaked my interest and points that I felt like were downfalls to the game.
Things and points I like most on game:
1. The graphics for this game at the time was pretty impressive.
2. 14 playable characters (Not bad for a starter game and keeps players wanting more)
3. Interactive objects the you can hit (crates, barrels, etc)
Things and points I didn’t like most on game:
1. Wasn’t as challenging as I had hope. (if you can beat a game in a day it could be considered a bad game for me.)
Scale: 1 to 10 (1 = worst, 10= best)
graphics=7
music=9
cinematics=9
story=6
content=5
controls=9
gameplay=7

Does college teach you skills for the real world?
I took the liberty of searching the question that we all ask ourselves everyday as college students. That question is “Does college teach you the skills for the real world?” I found an article from the The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) website and thought is would be important to share with all the college students, like myself, out there who are not sure or students who are worried about the future. While reading this article it made me think about what I needed to do to ensure my success as a game designer. Sure, the things in the article were things I’ve heard before but it always helps to read and hear about a student who is going through the same situation or fear as you.

Naruto in my opinion is one of the best animes of all time. One of the best developed plots and storylines I’ve ever seen! I hate that the games will soon come to an end. LONG LIVE NARUTO!!!!!!!!!!
