So What Is This Project, Anyway?
The Traveler's Guide to Drakarum is a personal worldbuilding project that I'm planning to turn into a travel guide written by an in-world author, because I'm terrible at writing plots but love worldbuilding and character-making. On Drakarum, dragons and humans co-exist with varying levels of success, magic is a constant presence that can be physically shaped into spells by several means, an entire giant clade of hexapodal animals exists, and the author of this travel guide is so excited to give you a tour of the world and its geography, ecosystems, and cultures.
I, the real out-here author, am Dragonheart (Dragon for short) or Rani depending where you first met me - they/them, it/its, and dre/drem/dris/dris/dremself pronouns in no particular order of preference. This is a side project for me, so I'm in no particular rush, but I'm trying to get at least a little bit done every day, and I want to share it, so here we are. (There may not be a blog post every day, but probably most days.) Someday maybe it'll be a published book, maybe.
Common organizational tags (if one is broken, it's because it's currently empty because I'm just starting this blog up):
drymakrrasii - information on the conlang I'm making for this, the draconic-in-origin trade language used commonly across the northern continent
drymak | drakarum humans - information on dragons (or drymak) and humans in this setting, respectively
drakarum biology | drakarum culture | drakarum magic | drakarum food - information on the subject in question
inspiration - external reblogs I want to store for inspiration, reference, etc.
Individual cultures will also get tags, but I don't have any good names for those yet, so I'll list them when I come up with them.
