Our pronouns are they/them, not because we're non-binary but because we're literally two different motherf**kers

“My body”? oh no you must be mistaken. This isn’t my body, this is just a thing I’m inhabiting for a while cause the other one was unavailable. No I will not elaborate.

When your character tells you a thing and you, the author, are like, “No, you’re shitting me,” and the character’s all, “I absolutely am not,” and you realize that every single seed needed to grow that thing WAS ALREADY PLANTED IN THE STORY.

Hmhm. It's also things that are usually missing that feel off.
Djura is missing an eye, and it starts to droop when he fronts. Generally, all his source mates also have fangs, so our teeth feel incredibly fucked up whenever a Yharnamite fronts. Engie is missing an arm, and we feel the point where it got cut. The arm feels oddly numb after that point. And then we got Star, whose entire body is so obviously different from the meat suit that she doesn't like fronting at all because it makes her dizzy. Girl got wings and isn't organic. Snatcher is another case, he doesn't really have legs? And ours feel awkward and teetering when he fronts.
do any other introjects get phantom sensations of features they don't have on their current body? feeling the phantom [thing that will make my source INCREDIBLY obvious] helped us realize that i exist, so now i'm curious if other systems experience that phenomenon!
