Yucca is toxic to cats if ingested. So if your kitty isn’t chewing on it, just sitting next to it is fine.

hi! apologies if this oversteps, but yucca plants are actually toxic to cats (both the bark and the leaves)! if your cat has been having reactions to something and you haven't yet identified exactly what it is, it might be the plant

Oooh???!!! I was told by a vet tech that yuccas are not toxic to animals - she’s not interested and we had the plant for maaaaybe a month, I’ll take it away though just to be sure, thank you for the heads up, I’ll put the plant away from her cat reach 😭

Also if you have any cat friendly plants suggestions , let me know 👀 spider plant is the default in the house, we also have fern.
