Last Sunday was some of the most fun I’ve had at training - especially after a week living the slug life full of cold. And I could totally lift my arms the next day. And the day after that 👀

"THE PACK IS HERE.. or, it was a second ago?" So, I've currently run out of strategically-accurate, clever or funny things to say about derby… but I wanted to draw derby scenes anyway. This one's inspired by some training videos (where it's never this easy or dramatic).

well the last one got a few Likes within a day or so (despite tumbler being a desert when it comes to roller derby content, and I had thought, people looking for same); so I guess I'll take the time to post this series here too, as well as everywhere else??

WHAT'S THAT DERBYTERM? 1: "Multiplier Block!" A new series to help you figure out what that derby term is… kinda, sorta, basically (wrong answers only).

so like, that's how it works, right? Points for one block multiply for each player involved like a koopa shell, right?

i wish to god i was able to draw because the image of ethel merman doing roller derby struck me so suddenly and vividly that i laughed about it for like five minutes straight
