Botswana Flag Drawing || How to Draw Botswana Flag

Botswana Flag Drawing is very easy. Showing you how to draw Botswana flag from scratch.

Follow the steps to draw Botswana flag: 

Step 1: Draw a rectangle: This is the main structure of the flag. The proportion will be 3:2 (length: width). 

Step 2: Add a blue color to the entire rectangle a light sky blue.  

Step 3: Draw a horizontal black stripe as I have shown. The black stripes must have white stripes above and below.  

This black stripe should be in the middle side of the flag and will be one-third of the entire rectangle, and the white stripes will be narrow above and below the black stripes.

Historia de la bandera de Guatemala La historia de la bandera de Guatemala comenzó cuando América Central obtuvo su independencia de España. El diseño más antiguo data de 1825. দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার সবচেয়ে ছোট এবং সুন্দর একটি দেশের নাম বাংলাদেশ যা পৃথিবীতে বর্তমানে উন্নয়নশীল দেশ হিসেবে পরিচিত । দীর্ঘ নয় মাস যুদ্ধের পর ১৯৭১ সালে আমরা পাকিস্তানের কাছ থেকে স্বাধীনতা পেয়েছি। লাখো মুক্তিযোদ্ধার আত্মত্যাগের বিনিময়ে আমরা এই দেশকে স্বাধীন করেছি । প্রতি বছর ১৬ ডিসেম্বর আমাদের বিজয় দিবস উদযাপন করি কারণ এই দিনে পাকিস্তানি সেনারা আত্মসমর্পণ করেছিল এবং 26শে মার্চ হল আমাদের স্বাধীনতা দিবস কারণ 1971 সালের এইদিনে জিয়াউর রহমান চট্টগ্রাম থেকে আমাদের স্বাধীনতা ঘোষণা করেছিলেন। আমরাই একমাত্র জাতি যারা ভাষার জন্য তার জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছিল যা 21শে ফেব্রুয়ারি আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসাবে পরিচিত। 180 টিরও বেশি দেশ এই দিনটি উদযাপন করে। বাংলাদেশের গ্রামীন পরিবেশ মানুষের কাছে খুবই আকর্ষনীয় । আমাদের দেশের সৌন্দর্য্য আমাদের কাছে সবচেয়ে বেশি ভাল লাগে ।

কোটা আন্দোলন বাংলাদেশ ২০২৪ প্রবন্ধ/অনুচ্ছেদ: 

বাংলাদেশে কোটা সংস্কার আন্দোলন আওয়ামী পুলিশ বাহিনী এবং ক্ষমতাসীন আওয়ামীলীগের ছাত্র সংগঠন বাংলাদেশ ছাত্রলীগ কর্তৃক আন্দোলনকারীদের উপর ব্যাপক দমন-পীড়ন সমগ্র জাতিকে নাড়া দিয়েছে ।   

২০১৮ সালে কোটা ব্যবস্থা এবং এর বিলুপ্তি: 

২০১৮ সালে বিক্ষোভের তাৎক্ষণিক কারণ ছিল একটি বিতর্কিত কোটা ব্যবস্থার বিষয়ে ছাত্রদের ক্ষোভ, যা বাংলাদেশ সরকারি চাকরির চাকরির একটি বড় অংশ দখল করেছিল । বাংলাদেশের সরকারি চাকরির ক্ষেত্রে মোট ৫৬ শতাংশ, তন্মধ্যে মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের সন্তান ও নাতিনাতনিদের জন্য  ৩০ শতাংশ চাকরি সংরক্ষিত ছিল । অন্যান্য কোটা সংরক্ষিত পদ হলো মহিলাদের ১০ শতাংশ, অনগ্রসর প্রান্তিক জেলাগুলির জন্য ১০ শতাংশ, আদিবাসী জনসংখ্যার জন্য ৫ শতাংশ এবং শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধীদের জন্য ১ শতাংশ কোটা সংরক্ষিত ছিল । ফলে কোটা পদ্ধতি নিয়ে দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই প্রশ্নবিদ্ধ করে আসছিলো শিক্ষার্থী ও সুশীল সমাজ ।  

দেশের মেধাবীদের প্রতি এই অবিচারের দাবিতে ২০১৮ সালে,  একটি ব্যাপক বিক্ষোভ শুরু হয় । গত ১৫ বছর ধরে ক্ষমতাসীন রাজনৈতিক দল আওয়ামীলীগ দাবি করে যে তারা মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনায় উব্দুদ্ধ এবং স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশের প্রকৃত ধারক । তাদের রাজনীতির মতাদর্শ হলো বিরোধী দল গুলি, যেমন বিএনপি,  বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলাম মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনার বিরোধি শক্তি । তাই তাদের রাজনৈতিক অবস্থান টিকিয়ে রাখার জন্য মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনাকে উজ্জীবিত করার জন্য তারা এই কোটা পদ্ধতির প্রবর্তন করেছিল । তবে ২০১৮ সালের বিক্ষোভের তীব্রতা এত বেশি ছিল যে সরকার কোটা ব্যবস্থা বাতিল করতে বাধ্য হয়েছিল । এরপর বিক্ষোভকারীরা রাস্তা ছেড়ে দেয় । 

২০২৪ এর প্রতিবাদ: 

৫ জুন ২০২৪ তারিখে মুক্তিযোদ্ধা বংশোদ্ভুত একজনের একটি রিটের প্রেক্ষিতে বাংলাদেশের উচ্চ আদালতে কোটা পদ্ধতি পুনর্বহাল করে । রায়ে কোটা বিলুপ্তিকে ‘অসাংবিধানিক, বেআইনি ও অকার্যকর বলে উল্লেখ করা হয় এবং কোটা পদ্ধতি এভাবে ফিরে আসে যেন কিছুই হয়নি । শিক্ষার্থীরা এটা সহজভাবে নেয়নি । কোটা পদ্ধতির পুনর্বহালের প্রতিবাদে তারা আবার রাস্তায় নেমে আসে । দেশের সেরা এবং ঐতিহাসিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে শান্তিপূর্ণ বিক্ষোভ শুরু হয় এবং  অন্যান্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীরাও বিক্ষোভে যোগদান করে । ছয় বছরের মধ্যে দ্বিতীয়বার, দেশব্যাপী একটি আন্দোলনে পরিণত হয় । প্রথমে, ক্ষমতাসীন দলের রাজনীতিবিদ এবং সরকার বলেছিল যে কোটা পুনর্বহালের বিষয়ে তাদের কিছুই করার নেই, কারণ দেশের সর্বোচ্চ আদালতের আদেশ এসেছে, যা আন্দোলন কারীরা শুনতে প্রস্তুত ছিল না ।

১৪ জুলাই ২০২৪ তারিখে আন্দোলনকারীদের নিয়ে সাংবাদিকের প্রশ্নের জবাবে হাসিনা বিতর্কিত মন্তব্য দেশব্যাপী উত্তাপ ছড়িয়ে দেয় । তিনি বলেন, “মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের প্রতি আন্দোলনকারীদের এত মাথাব্যথা কেন ? মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের নাতি-নাতনিরা কোটা সুবিধা না পেলে রাজাকারদের নাতি-নাতনিরা কি সুবিধা পাবে ? 

তার বক্তব্যের পর ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কয়েক হাজার শিক্ষার্থী রাস্তায় নেমে এসে স্লোগান দিতে থাকে । সরকারি নির্দেশে কিছু গণমাধ্যম শিক্ষার্থীদের তৎপরতাকে বিকৃত ভাবে উপস্থাপন করে । ছাত্রদের কর্মকাণ্ডের ভুল ব্যাখ্যা করা সরকারের জন্য এটি ছিল আরেকটি ভয়ঙ্কর পদক্ষেপ । নিপীড়ন, নির্যাতন, হুমকি, প্রকাশে খুন এইসব সরকারের কর্মকান্ড স্কিল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ও বিক্ষোভ কারীদের ক্ষোভ বাড়িয়ে দেয় ।

একইরাতে, হাসিনা জাতির উদ্দেশে ভাষণে নির্বিচারে বিপুল সংখ্যক শিক্ষার্থীদের হত্যার বিচারের কথা না বলে সহিংসতায় দেশের ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত সম্পদের জন্য অনুশোচনা করে । পাশাপাশি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, কলেজ ও স্কুল বন্ধ করে দেয়া হয়  । এতে বিক্ষোভ আরো বৃদ্ধি পায় । 

১৮ জুলাই ২০২৪ তারিখে বিক্ষোভকারীরা জরুরি পরিষেবা যানবাহন ব্যতীত দেশব্যাপী সবকিছু বন্ধের (Complete Shutdown) ডাক দেয় । এবার রাজধানীর বেসরকারি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, পাবলিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালর এবং মাধ্যমিক স্কুল-কলেজের শিক্ষার্থীরাও আন্দোলনে নেমে পরে । সরকার তখনও পিছু হটতে প্রস্তুত ছিল না; ফলস্বরূপ, বিক্ষোভকারীদের উপর দমন-পীড়ন আরও আগ্রাসী হয়ে ওঠে । সোশ্যাল মিডিয়াতে অসংখ নিহতের খবর ছড়িয়ে পরে । 

পরিস্থিতির অবনতি হলে আইনমন্ত্রী গণমাধ্যমের সামনে এসে ঘোষণা দেন, সরকার আন্দোলনকারীদের সঙ্গে বসতে প্রস্তুত । তবে তখনও শিক্ষার্থীদের ওপর হামলা অব্যাহত থাকে । আহত এবং মৃত ছাত্রদের ভয়ঙ্কর ছবি এবং ভিডিও দেখে নেটিজেনদের ব্যাপক প্রতিক্রিয়ার সাথে বিক্ষোভকারীরা ঘোষণা দেয় যে তারা তাদের মৃত ভাইবোনদের রক্তের উপর পাড়িয়ে সরকারের সাথে কথা বলতে নারাজ । সেই মুহূর্তে বাংলাদেশ সরকার সারা দেশে ইন্টারনেট এবং মোবাইল নেটওয়ার্ক বন্ধ করে দেয়, যা ঘটছে তা জানা অসম্ভব করে তোলে । তা সত্ত্বেও , দুই দিনে হাজারেরও বেশি  বিক্ষোভ কারী নিহত এবং হাজার হাজার আহত হয় । বিষয়টি এখন কোটা সংস্কারের মাঝে সীমাবদ্ধ নেই: সরকার ও তার সমর্থকরা তখন জানায় যে, কোটা সংস্কার আন্দোলনকে শিক্ষার্থীদের কাছ থেকে ছিনিয়ে নিয়েছে বিএনপি ও জামায়াত-ই-ইসলামীর ক্যাডাররা । যদিও এ ধরনের দাবির ভিত্তি জাতির কাছে সম্পূর্ণ মিথ্যাচার ছিল ।  তারা বুঝে যায় কেউ, আন্দোলন ততক্ষনে সরকারের অস্তিত্বের জন্য হুমকি হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ।

এর কারণ হল তৎকালীন আ���য়ামী সরকার ২০০৯ সাল থেকে গত ১৬ বছর ধরে কুক্ষিগত করে রাখে । ২০১৪, ২০১৯ এবং ২০২৪ সালের নির্বাচনে সরকার জনগণের অংশগ্রহণ ছাড়াই তাদের ক্ষমতা ধরে রেখেছিলো জোর পূর্বক ভোট চুরি ও ডাকাতির মাধ্যমে । সরকারি ও বেসরকারি খাতেও দুর্নীতি নিয়ে ব্যাপক উত্তেজনা বিরাজ করছিলো । এমনকি সরকারি মদদে সিভিল সার্ভিসের চাকরির প্রশ্নও ফাঁস করে যাচ্ছিলো পাবলিক সার্ভিস কমিশনের (পিএসসি) কর্মকর্তারা বিগত ১২ বছর ধরে ।

এছাড়া, দীর্ঘদিন ধরে ক্ষমতাসীন দলের ছাত্র সংগঠন ছাত্রলীগের বিরুদ্ধে বর্তমান বিক্ষোভে শুধু বিরোধী দলের ছাত্র সংগঠন নয়, সাধারণ ছাত্র জনগোষ্ঠীকেও নির্যাতনের ব্যাপক অভিযোগ পাওয়া যায়  । এছাড়া আরও অনেক কারণে দেশের সর্বস্তরের জনগণের মধ্যে ব্যাপক ক্ষোভের সৃষ্টি করেছিল । সুতরাং, প্রতিবাদ আন্দোলন যখন শুরু হয়েছিল তা আর সেরকম থাকেনি, যা ক্রমান্বয়ে দেশের সাধারণ জনগণের আন্দোলনে পরিণত হয় ।

ক্ষমতাসীন আওয়ামীলীগ বিক্ষোভ কে নিজেদের অস্তিত্বের হুমকি হিসেবে দেখেছিলো । যদিও সেই প্রেক্ষাপটের জন্য শুধুমাত্র সরকার নিজে এবং তার "আপোষহীন" পদ্ধতি দায়ী ছিল  । বেপরোয়া দুর্নীতি বন্ধে তাদের ব্যর্থতা, ছাত্রদের বিরুদ্ধে ছাত্রদের ব্যবহার, অতিরিক্ত বল প্রয়োগ, সাধারণ মানুষের ভোটাধিকার থেকে বঞ্চিত করা ।

সমগ্র বিশ্বের কাছে নিজেকে গণতান্ত্রিক সরকার হিসাবে উপস্থাপন করা সত্ত্বে ও বাস্তবে দীর্ঘস্থায়ী স্বৈরাচারের মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশে ব্যাপক জনসাধারণের প্রতিক্রিয়া দেখা দেয় এবং অবশেষে হাসিনা ৫ আগস্ট ২০২৪ এ প্রধানমন্ত্রীর পদ থেকে অব্যাহতি দিয়ে তার চির ভালোবাসার দেশ ভারতে পালিয়ে যায় ।

২০২৪ সালে, আন্দোলনকারী ছাত্র এবং জনগণকে তাদের যৌক্তিক দাবির বিরুদ্ধে নির্বিচারে অভিযুক্ত করা এবং হত্যা করার পরিণতি কী হতে পারে তার জন্য বাংলাদেশ সারা বিশ্বের কাছে একটি রোলমডেল হয়ে থাকবে আজীবন ।

Quota Movement Bangladesh 2024 Essay/ Paragraph The quota reform movement in Bangladesh has rocked and shocked the nation due to the massive crackdown on the protesters by law enforcement armed forces and the ruling Awami League’s student wing, the Bangladesh Chhatra League. The Quota System and Its Abolishment in 2018: The immediate cause of the protests was student anger over the reinstatement of a controversial quota system, which reserves a sizable chunk of Bangladesh government service jobs. In the latest repetition of the quotas applied to 56 percent of Bangladesh government service jobs, most notably, 

30 percent of jobs were reserved for the children and grandchildren of freedom fighters. Other quotas reserve positions for women (10 percent), backward districts that are considered marginalized (10 percent), minorities such as the Indigenous population (5 percent), and people with physical disabilities (1 percent). As a result, the quota system has been questioned as problematic by students and civil society for a long time. In 2018, a massive protest broke out when students from public universities countrywide demanded reform to the quota system claiming that the 56 percent reserved quota does not fairly consider the merits and the vast number of applicants who remain outside the quota criteria. The ruling party, 

Awami League, which has also been in power for the last 15 years, maintains that they are the true holders of the spirit of the Liberation War, and by extension independent Bangladesh. Their politics revolve around the narrative that the opposition parties, such as the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, stand opposed to the spirit of the Liberation War due to their relationship with the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, a religious-oriented party whose leaders were accused of collaborating with the Pakistani military and committing war crimes and in 1971. Therefore, it was in the interest of the Awami League to sustain and maintain their political position. However, the intensity of the 2018 protests was so high that the government was compelled to abolish the quota system. Then, the protesters left the street. 

The 2024 Protests: On June 5, 2024, the high court of Bangladesh reinstated the quota system in response to a writ submitted by a freedom fighter descent. The verdict mentioned that the quota abolishment was “unconstitutional, illegal, and ineffective.” The quota system was back as if nothing had happened. The students did not take it easily. 

They have again gone to the streets to protest the return of the quota system, an issue they thought had been resolved. The protests started at the University of Dhaka, arguably the country’s best and most historical university. Soon, students at other universities followed the protests, and for the second time within six years, turned into a nationwide movement. At first, ruling party politicians and the government said they had nothing to do with the quota reinstatement, as the order came from the country’s highest court. But the protesters were not ready to listen. They wanted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to reassure them and act. The tension escalated when Hasina made a controversial remark on July 14 while answering a question from a journalist regarding quota reform protesters. She said, “Why do the protesters have so much bother towards the freedom fighters? If the grandchildren of the freedom fighters don’t get quota benefits, should the grandchildren of Razakars get the benefit?” Following her remarks, thousands of students from the Dhaka University student dorms came out to the street and started shouting slogans. Hasina should contextualize the student’s anger and disappointment before her remarks “Razakar” which is such an insulting label abuse in Bangladesh. 

It was no wonder, that Hasina’s remark sparked the students’ anger. However, following the students’ activities, some media chose to deform their anger by the government order. It was a more inflammatory move for the government to misinterpret the student’s activities. Meanwhile, the threats only increased the protesters' anger in all other universities.

Step 1: Draw the basic frame. Draw a rectangle: Draw a rectangle in the center of the paper. The ratio is 3:2 (width: height). 

 Step 2: Draw the center symbol with the circle as I have shown: Use a compass to draw a circle in the center. The diameter of this circle is approximately 1/2 the height of the square. Divide the circle in half horizontally and color the circle's upper half red and the circle's lower half blue. Draw two smaller, equally sized circles on the center line of the larger circle. The diameter of the small circle is 1/2 the diameter of the circle. The upper small circle will be red, and the lower small circle color will be blue. 

Step 3: Drawing the ruling. Mark the position of a rule: Marks the centers of the four zones around the emblem. Draw three straight black lines. Each line is drawn parallel to the sides of the square. Draw three black consecutive lines, with the middle line as a dotted line. Draw two straight black lines, with an additional dotted line in the middle. Draw a black straight line in the center, but draw additional dotted lines at the top and bottom. 3. Color between Two Parts. The left part should be green and the right part should be red. 

4. Draw a circle in the center of the line that divides the two parts. If the height is 20 cm, the diameter of the circle should be approximately 6.67 cm. 

5. Inside the circle, draw the Portuguese shield as I show you. As shown in my tutorial, the shield has an "U" shape with a slightly rounded base.
