I've been thinking about how Jean said that Ravens didn't leave, they graduated, and Thea wearing her old jersey number on a chocker around her neck. Cat lets herself be picked up, joking about being squeezed into strong French muscles, and sticks her tongue out at Jeremy.

Jean releases her onto the bench, where the medical team tends to her. Jean returns to the court.

Suddenly, half the team is on the court floor because they've had an accident (or a massive stroke, those idiots).

Jean looks for his captain to tell him to get his players in order.

Jeremy is on the floor beside him, looking at him with those eyes he sometimes makes when he wants Jean's attention, blinking a lot.

"I'm hurt so bad, I can't move."

Jean sighs, slow and deep.

neil's sexuality is so interesting and complex, i love it so so so much. he doesn't swing. he has trauma from his mom trying to beat all interest in women out of him. he experiences a degree of attraction to women but doesn't feel anything kissing them. he jerks off sometimes and basically sees it as system maintenance. it never would have occurred to him to be attracted to andrew if andrew didn't bluntly say he'd blow him and then later kiss him. he doesn't think to initiate anything sexual, it just doesn't occur to him to do so, andrew has to cue him in and then he'll drop everything to make out. he still doesn't swing, it's just andrew.

I know damn well Andrew softens whenever Neil is around. He has that deadly blank aura on a regular basis, can threaten someone without a change of expression or even batting an eye. But when Neil is around, the tension leaves his shoulders, his eyes glare a little less, he moves with less sharp precision, almost gentle, the tiniest bit of softness overtaking every peice of him. Neil doesn't even have to do anything, simply being in the room is enough for that devilish edge to smooth over. He breaths easier, walks lighter, his whole world is a little calmer with just the presence of Neil Josten.

Objectively the FUNNIEST thing about aftg is how Neil is like "ok i gotta look average, i gotta blend in and look normal" and then if you try to imagine ANY situation he has ever been in from an outside perspective it's this gorgeous guy who's skittish as fuck for some reason, picks fights and zooms away, likes math, does not have a phone and flinches when he gets a notification when he does get a phone, would literally rather jump out of a third storey window than ask anyone for help and literally stares at people like hes never had a human interaction if someone is nice to him
