the menagerie has returned. Jeffrey is alive, and responding well to treatment. he is insistent he doesn't need it, but i insisted - purely out of thanks for his advice regarding the evil science centre forums. he has resisted the suggestion of a tracker, so i shall put it to rest for now.

will continue monitoring the menagerie, alhough they seem much happier for having left their cells. will arrange further enrichment opportunities; perhaps the ESC will have ideas.

the menagerie has returned at long last. i will draw up a report in the morning, but for now, i am happy to note that Leera and Fred and are still the best of friends, Damp is happily adjusting to the new living arrangements, and, best of all, Jeffrey has returned!

he is well, though a little bruised; he reports that the Twins have become rather friendly with him and introduced him to their talons - i am ever so proud of them. their social skills had rather declined since the board requested they avoid the upper levels of the centres.

well yesterday was certainly a long day. stopped by the cafeteria for some news on Jeffrey, and was told to join the "online forum" as it were, which was neither helpful nor unhelpful. a lovely firebird offered me a sample, so project phoenix may go ahead at last!

in other news, no word from the board. these brownies are delicious.

Incident Report #2536 addendum

Typo in original report noted, will not reoccur.

Containment units have been cleaned, no damage indicating serious deterioration of the mental faculties (Note: The Twins unit does appear to be coated in intricate drawings of small dogs. Unclear if this is something to be concerned about. Encouraging notes placed on certain dogs in the form of post it notes. Will continue to monitor.)

Jeffrey still missing. Would miss him dearly, were it not for Solution IXP-306. Jeffrey named it - clearly a natural scientist, his initiative should increase the probability of his survival. Vital tracker suggests this is likely.

Further action: Order of small round plushes for Delilah - designation Squishmallow; update Jeffrey's tracker with GPS; formulate recipe 309, code - Brownies for Evil Science Centre Board of Meglomaniacs.

Incident Account:

Leera and Fred have been colluding again. It appears they lured Jeffrey into their cell with promises of off-brand soda (his favorite) and have since absconded with him and the menagerie. Damp has remained, satisfied by the promise of Leera's second head when it returns. Lockdown has been initiated, although I suspect they will remain in the catacombs until dinner. Jeffrey not a concern at this time - signed a waiver, attached.
