big ramble about my favorite thing ever + the source of my huzband

penny arcade is a webcomic centered around video games created by mike krahulik (artist) and jerry holkins (writer) that involves johnathan "gabe" gabriel and tycho brahe getting into situations.

it's been running since 1998 and still updates every monday, wednesday, and friday (unless something interferes with the schedule)

the 2007-2014 comics are more strange and mischaracterizing than the 1998-2006 comics, but it sort of goes back to normal after that. also the 2015-now comics are less video game centered (to me personally) but still alright i guess

tycho made a guest appearance in poker night at the inventory, with his lovely voice lent to him by andrew chaikin

penny arcade also has their own original games, "penny arcade adventures: on the rain-slick precipice of darkness" chapters 1-4.
