Throwback Mockup Post: FitTrack
👟 Throwback to one of my early product mockups: FitTrack — a mobile fitness tracker I designed for busy professionals. The first version? Overcomplicated. Too many buttons. 😅 But it taught me the value of simplicity, hierarchy, and mobile-first UI. Here's a quick look at version 1 vs. version 3 (📸 coming soon). Sometimes the best way to grow is to cringe at your old work — and improve.

🧠 Branding Tip
💡 Branding isn’t just your logo — it’s the feeling people get when they see your work. Consistency in colors, tone, and design builds trust faster than a flashy logo ever will.
Store Building Tip
🛍️ Keep your online store clean and fast. One product = one CTA. Clutter kills conversions. Speed earns trust.
Product Sourcing Tip
🚚 Before you commit to a supplier, order the product yourself. Test the shipping time, packaging, and quality. Your customer’s first impression depends on it.

Behind the Scenes of Launching My Store Brand
Title: Behind the Scenes: Launching My Store Brand from Scratch
Launching a brand isn’t just about having a logo and a name — it’s late nights, research, doubts, and little wins. Here’s what it really looked like when I decided to build my own online store.
Why I Started
For me, it began with a simple idea: I wanted to build something that reflected my style, passion, and creativity. I noticed a gap in the market for the kind of products I personally loved, and I thought, why not create it myself? That small idea turned into a brand.
Finding the Name & Brand Identity
Coming up with the name was one of the hardest parts. I wanted something catchy, unique, and easy to remember. After scribbling down ideas for days, I finally landed on a name that felt true to me. Then came the colors, the logo, and the vibe — every element was a piece of my vision.
Building the Store
I chose Shopify to build my store. At first, it was overwhelming. Product photos, descriptions, setting up payments, customizing the layout — all of it was new to me. I spent countless hours tweaking things until they felt right. Every click was a step closer to launch.
My First Win
Getting that first order? Unforgettable. I still remember the excitement, the nerves, and the moment I saw the notification. That one sale felt like a thousand. It gave me the motivation to keep going and trust the process.
Lessons Learned
Start even if you’re not ready. You’ll figure it out.
Good product photos matter — a lot.
Consistency builds trust.
Don’t compare your Day 1 to someone else’s Year 5.
Final Thoughts
I’m still learning every day, but launching this brand has been one of the best moves I’ve ever made. If you’re thinking of starting your own — do it scared. You’ll grow into it.
