You don’t quite remember how your friends managed to get you here and if you’re being honest you don’t care either. At this moment all that mattered to you was the god himself, Kim Namjoon. Ever since you spotted him when you arrived at the party, you’ve been sneaking glances at him every chance you got and that didn’t go unnoticed by your friends. You snap out of your thoughts as one of his friends yells out.

“Yo! Who wants to join us for a game of spin the bottle?!”

A few cheers came from the guests and a hard shove from your friend came next. You turn to her with shocked eyes and shake your head. She rolls her eyes at you, “Come on, Y/n, you’ve been eating him with your eyes since we got here. Tonight is your chance!” She gives you a wide smile. “Plus, even if you don’t get to smooch him, his friends aren’t all that bad looking themselves.”

You throw your head back then look at her, “I don’t want to kiss a total stranger.”

“Honey... Namjoon is a total stranger and you’re thirsting after him. Let’s just go and sit down before the game starts.”

The amount of people playing spin the bottle was uncanny, There’s no way I’ll be able to kiss him. you thought. Luckily your friend had decided to also participate in the game, she held your hand with reassurance.

“Alright. Since Taehyung suggested to play this game, he’ll be spinning first.” said Namjoon. Taehyung gave him a V sign and grabbed the bottle.

Because you’re so nervous your head goes up into the clouds, until your friend’s small gasp brings you out of your thoughts. You look at her and then the bottle. Oh, the bottle is pointing to her, I wonder who she’s gonna kiss. A sudden movement from you peripheral vision catches your attention. You see Namjoon walking over to your friend. Oh no. Your eyes fly over to your friend only to find out she was already looking at you with a smirk.

“Ooo~ Joon, guess she’s eager to kiss you with that smirk,” says one of his friends. Namjoon just rolls his eyes and stops and sits in front of your friend.

He sighs, “No offense, but let’s just get this over with.”

A chuckle escapes your friend’s mouth, “No offense Joon, but I don’t want to kiss you.”

Taehyung yells, “Boo! Who is he supposed to kiss then?”

“Hmmm, how about y/n?” she grinned and points at you.

Namjoon’s tired eyes meet yours, and for a second you think you see his eyes light up but he turns away before you could make sure. Your yank your friend’s arm towards you and whisper, “Dude, what the heck? Y-you really think he’s gonna want to kiss me? I’m a loser compared to him.”

“Look at Tae...” is all she says. So you separate from her and give him a look. Only to see him wearing an amused smile on his face.

“Well hyung?”

“I’ll kiss her... only if she’s okay with it.” Namjoon says.

Your friend nudges you and raises her eyebrow signaling for you to answer. Gulping down your nervousness, you nod towards him and he moves to be in front of you. He looks down and sees your hands clenching and the corner of his lips lift up. His hand reaches for yours and rubs it gently. He leans in and whispers, “You don’t have to force yourself, Y/n.”

As he begins to back away, you grab him by his collar. “I’m not,” you say quietly and pull him lightly. You felt his warm breath on your cheeks and fluttered your eyes close and met his lips. The feeling of his soft and luscious lips repropricating your kiss sends you spinning. His free hand slides down your back and your heart continues to race.

At that moment it was just you and him and no one else. That is until you begin to hear cheering around you. And now suddenly you’re painfully aware of what you’re doing. Oh my god, I’m really kissing Namjoon in front of all these people!

You unwantedly pull away from him. Both of you out of breath but not so much you have to gasp for air. He wears a small smile on his face and leans in again to whisper to you. “We should do this again sometime. Only without the bottle and all these people.”
