For the past year, many people have seen Helaena being averse to physical touch as a sign of her hating Alicent.

So there is something nice about Helaena actually reaching her hand out for Alicent to grab, as they both run to safety. Helaena waits for Alicent, she sticks her hand out to grab Alicent, she is terrified but is concerned for her mother's safety, and they hold hands and run together...

I genuinely don't think people who are haters about the met gala even know what it's FOR like. you can get into the met for ¢10 which I have done and that's because of events like the met gala. they keep admission BASICALLY free.

I know the met gala is a fundraiser for specifically the costume institute but it's just one of the many fundraisers they hold throughout the year

Theme: Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashions. the exhibition the gala launches is displaying pieces that are very fragile alongside more modern pieces that have the same "spirit". This is not how people are supposed to be dressing to.

Dress Code: The Garden of Time. It's a 1962 short story of a dystopian couple escaping the mob outside their villa by using flowers in their garden that can reverse time.

This year is VERY open to interpretation. Technically real flowers are not aligned with the dress code, but flowers made of crystals/gems/anything artifical are aligned. But one could also go for a futuristic or historical inspired look.
