What is Dreamrift Realms?

🌌 What exactly is Dreamrift Realms (DRR)? Imagine stepping into a shared, dreamlike world where VR players, mobile users, and PC adventurers all exist side by side. Whether you're fully immersed in VR or just using your phone, you're still part of the same realm — exploring, creating, and connecting across devices like it’s no big deal.

🎯 What is DRR’s aim? To make immersive experiences feel magical and reachable. I want to create something that feels like VR… without needing the fancy tech. Whether you’ve got a headset or just your phone, DRR aims to make sure you belong in that world too.

🎮 What can you play it on? You’ll be able to hop in with your phone (if it has a camera), your PC using a webcam, or a full VR setup. Everyone plays together — no one's left out

💡 Why are you making this? Because I’ve always loved the idea of people escaping into dreamy worlds together — but I also know how expensive and exclusive VR can be. I want to help bring that feeling to everyone, even if all you have is a mobile device. It's about making something magical… and kind.

🏠 Is there a studio behind it? Nope, it’s just me! A student, always tinkering with ideas between classes. I run on coffee, curiosity, and a soft spot for cats 🐾☕ (Seriously, if you send me a cat pic, I might cry happy tears D:)

👀 Can we watch it? Absolutely! You can watch the chaos and creativity unfold live on Twitch (come say hi in chat!), join the cozy little Discord community, or follow this blog for behind-the-scenes updates, sneak peeks, and maybe even a few silly dev moments.

📅 When should we be expecting the release? I’m hoping to launch a beta version once I can properly publish it — but that really depends on two big things:

Getting a bit of support to help with publishing or server costs

Finding enough time to make sure everything actually works!

I don’t want to rush and put out something broken, so I’m carefully building it piece by piece, testing as I go. It might take a little while, but it will be worth it — and I’ll keep sharing updates along the way!
