sorry if i’m being a party pooper but because rabies is apparently the new joke on here ??? please remember that rabies has an almost 100% fatality rate after symptoms develop so if you’re bitten or scratched by an animal that you aren’t 100% sure is vaccinated then GO TO A DOCTOR. it’s not a joke. really.

It occurs to me that there are people who weren’t on this website in 2012 and therefore never saw the magical gif that you can actually hear:
It’s been over five years and that still impresses the hell out of me.

Alright lets start.
From easiest to harderst:
"your appearance distorts so badly you're not recognizable as human" Staright up nope, your sprite never changes and if it actualy did story wise it would haven mentioned, monsters simply have harder time recognizing you as a human which a very heavy handed way of showing how you are loosing your humanity but in the story it can be explained with monsters magical nature.
"You get more health" Yes I alredy talked about that, the less you care about getting hurt the less it afects you wich is a very important factor for monsters bullets.
"Timelines stopping and starting until everything ends" Yes, thats the ability to save and load which Flowey had, meaning its not inherent to Frisk, when you die you come back at an earlier save point and you can fully reset it to the beggining stoping in a sense that time line. That must be what he is reffering to because it is imposible for the characters to remeber or track anything in delitions unlike with resets. Also its important to clarify that Sans is here talking about Floweys activities that he is atributing them to Frisk. The geno run can be your first run and he will still say all that and we know that Flowey did kill everything multiple times in his own runs.
"It physically changes you, it is still genuinely a physical amp and bla bla bla" None of that is ever said, the closer thing to that is Flowey talking about how stronger he felt when he killed but something is telling me that he is not talking about lifting weight but rather his combat effectivness which is alredy explained in the library.
"Undyne thinking you'll destroy humanity" Of course she says that, we just killed her and with our actions she can tell we are not stopping, murderers are a thing that actualy exist, by definition we are a threat but Im sure even she didnt knew that we were literaly going to destroy the world.
"Destroying the world" Yes thats the most impresive thing we ever witness in the game and I dont have much of any resourcess to discuss that without talking about undertales meta narrative for hours which is something just too big for me to do and there are already multiple hour long videos on youtube that do that.
Questioning Frisk's power in indie cross
As we all know Frisk is one of the most intimidating characters in the series, capable of one shooting most beings and capable of tanking wounds that would kill any ordinary child, and lets not forget their canonical ability to save and reset (Although most character have been shown to have re-spawn mechanics as well).
But having in mind undertales lore about its ""Power system"" I don't think this portray of Frisk is quite accurate.
Lets start with their strength, during a genocide run Frisk is able to insta kill most monsters they encounter which begs the question:
How can a child be so ridiculously powerful?
Well, simple. Monsters have a weakness to killing intent.
We learn that monsters are magical beings made out of hopes and dreams. We also know that their defenses are depended on their willingness to fight and that attacks carrying cruelness are so harmful to monsters that their very souls just cant stand it.
LOVE means level of violence, it represents our willingness to kill, the more harm we do the more easier it becomes, in other words our attacks carry less doubt and more cruelness, just as well the less we care about getting hurt the less it affects us which is very important for monsters bullets since they are and extension of their magic and personality.
Items seem to also be tied to this, with their emotional power in them translating into actual strength and protection.
What im trying to suggest here is that if Frisk were to fight something that wasn't a monster from undertale that they would be just... a child with a knife. Which is still very dangerous but not in the same scale as the other characters here.
I also want to talk about their save and reload ability and why I think that it shouldn't work.
As we know in undertale story that power originally belong to Flowey who obtained it when he gained sentience after being injected with determination.
He abused this power until he let to much time pass and frisk fell to the undergound and took control over the timeline because they had more determination.
This seems to imply that the power to save and reload in location based, more specifically its tied to the underground somehow.
What do you all think about this?
