You laugh at another inane thing Jack says. The grip on your froyo spoon is fragile, it sways in your hand. 

You slap your hand across your mouth, dropping your spoon into your bowl. “Shit, Jack. Lemme-”

You can’t help giggling as you see a dollop of frozen yogurt on Jack’s nose.

“Wait, wait, wait-” you try to catch him from wiping it off right away. You settle down your reaction, trying not to smile too much- trying not to give away that you’re up to anything. “You got somethin’ riiiiight there, cutie.” You lean forward, pressing a kiss to his nose and licking the vanilla off in the process.

“Gee,” he sighs, smiling. His cheeks tinted pink.

You giggle at his reaction. He’ll find another way for you to pay him back for this, you’re sure of it.
