trying so hard all the time not to throw up and cry over moonhill on dash. like the dynamic makes me so happy, makes me feel ill. i aurughghjkhg i need to eventually do it anyway,,, and do art. but im so hhghrhgrhghghh

ill be honest.

my activity on briar is probably going to remain very low. ive been really anxious and self conscious about my ocs for a very long time. and it's kind of lapsed back into that again pretty badly. not to say i wont do anything here at all, i adore briar a lot. i just have had some issues in recent months that keep resurfacing for me on and off, and it's made me pretty anxious any time i log in here. this also kind of goes for kuro, so activity on both my single oc blogs will remain at a minimum, and extremely selective about who i do stuff for.

very much so, it's his #1 favorite thing. and i think it's pretty obvious as to why that is. even when he gets his eyes repaired, it remains his go to. briar's honestly way more into foreplay than really getting down to it. not that he doesn't enjoy it, the build up is just wat more fun- and plays on what senses he's able to use.

woah how did you know!?!? fr though it does kind of play into a sensory thing for briar. in that it's a denial of sensations he's usually quite reliant on. there's a thrill to it too, and a massive show of trust in his partner.

he hadn't meant to fall asleep, but it felt like neither of them really had much downtime. boot/hill of course always had things to do; but now with his vision clear and functioning as normal- briar could help. he'd never say it aloud, never give away how he felt for a time... learning new environments was hard. and as much as he has always wanted to apply himself, it was just too much of a risk at times. so he stayed back and waited. waited, and tried not to think about the possibility that he might not come back. that briar would be left in a universe is was still... unfamiliar with.

of course, he doesn't feel so afraid of it anymore.

briar had drifted off quite awkwardly, head resting against the table he sat at. a wing draped across his eyes, glasses having since been pushed away. how he'd managed not to fall from his seat is a wonder. and, much to anyone's surprise; briar hardly responds when he's scooped up. a careful motion. offering little more than a jumble of incoherent words... barely a sentence.

it is however, when his love tucks him into a much cozier space- that he moves. his gaze shut, his movements slack and lazy. it's hard to tell if he's awake at all actually, or if it's something he's managing in his sleep. mumbling his name, as he reaches out to tug on the first thing his hand grabs.

okay i was insane enough to make a kit for briar. no i will not get into scaling with levels and items, and no i will not get into level up materials ... sobs.

path: harmony damage type: fire stat priority: speed , crit damage , attack light cone: black sheep flees paradise. ( i will make details on his lc later on in it's own post, as it'll also come with lore stuff... )

BASIC ATTACK ( shuffle step ): single target / deals fire damage equal to 50%-110% of briar's attack / 20 energy / 30 toughness damage.

" aw, did i step on your toes? "

" hold still for me! "

SKILL ( dreamstep tango ): single target / selects an ally, and buffs them and briar with an increase in damage based on 50% - 55% of briar's crit damage. also will apply the" quickstep trot " passive. which has a fixed chance to advance the action of the effected characters when briar lands a crit with his basic attack.

he cannot apply this ability to another character until after 3 turns. in which case the 'dance' ends, and he can pick a new partner.

ULTIMATE ( the caecus waltz ): single target / briar takes himself, and his 'dance partner' into a waltz ( not literally ). the ult advances the movement of briar's chosen partner at the time of using it to the very next in line. it also automatically resets their ultimate for use on briar's turn. if it is not uses on briar's turn then the buff the ult gave goes away and returns it's bar to where it was upon activation.

if dreamstep tango has not been used to select a partner, briar's ult will choose one at random. applying the appropriate buffs there as normal.

ultimate activate: " 1 , 2 , 3 and 1 , 2 , 3- "

ultimate unleashed: " trust me to lead this time? "

TALENT ( quickstep trot ): the chosen dance partner and briar have a 40% fixed chance to advance character action when briar's basic attack lands a crit.

" do as i do. "

TECHNIQUE ( rousing tempo ): for the first round of the next combat, all ally characters have an increased chance to crit, based on briar's own crit rate.

" haha! alright! "

TRACE ONE ( keep it going now! ): after using his ult, if his dance partner used their ulti on his turn, briar's crit rate goes up by 50% for 2 turns.

TRACE TWO ( let's call it 'blind' luck. ): 40% chance for briar to gain an extra action point upon landing a crit with his basic attack.

TRACE THREE ( feel the burn! ) : if briar attacks an enemy who's toughness has already been broken. he will apply burn.
