THANK YOU COMRADE THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL I LOVE IT SO MUCH
Tumblr media
Nothing's better than my poor little Radeček swearing in Czech and then getting what he deserves! 🥰💫
It's the exam weeks in my college and things are not going easy but now I haven't felt so happy in a long time😍😍 it's truly amazing, gives me strength to live and study harder so I'll be back to y'all soon💖
A galery of bad choices
My very short EESU fanfiction, involving my beloved boys Erhardt and Radím. @dresden-syndrome's OCs A little peek into Radíms life written by yours truly.
cw: violence, captivity
_____________
This was already a bad day. Radím could feel something was off from the moment he woke up. He felt tense this whole week, but… when was the last time he felt any different in this never ending nightmare.
To make matters worse it seemed like Erhardt got up on the wrong side of bed too. And, as always, he made it Radíms problem. Any other day he would’ve just absorbed it, finished his chores quickly and disapear from his owners sight.
But not today.
Radím felt anger bubbling within his veins. Despite his best efforts, his owner didn’t let him catch a breath. The air was stiff and the collar around his neck felt like a noose. He learned very soon to just bite his tongue and do as he’s told, the consequences of a slightest disobedience were visible for weeks. Radím didn't want to get beaten again, knowing  just how much Günther loved every oportunity to hurt him and even more so putting his handiwork on display for everyone to see. A gallery of bad choices.
Another round of degrading remarks showered Radím like an acid rain. With the last insult ringing in his ears, Radíms eyes clouded with rage. For a brief moment he lost control and a quiet curse slipped pass his clenched teeth.
'Bolševická svině’ he hissed under his breath. (bolshevik swine)
A wave of relief washed over him, that single speckle of rebellion made him feel like he still didn't loose his personhood.
His bliss was cut short by panicked yelp as Erhardt grabbed his collar and yanked him back. Radíms heart raced as he was forced to meet his owners gaze, the dark eyes bore into his, sending shivers down his spine. Slight twitch of Günthers nose hinted what emotions were lurking under the unexpresive mask.
The boys blood froze as he heard a sentence in perfect Czech.
'Zopakuj to.' (say that again)
Life flashed before Radíms eyes, his tiny heart hammered against his ribcage like a captured bird. His voice got caught in his throat, paralysed by the suffocating doom.
The boys train of thought was violently stopped and so was his ability to breathe. With a cruel twist of a wrist Günther hoisted him up by the collar. Radím was forced to his tiptoes, desperately trying to alleviate some pressure crushing his windpipe.
Erhardt sneered at the sight of his pet trashing like a fish out of water, frantically clawing onto the leather collar in desperate attempt to free himself. Radím dug his nails into the hand holding his collar, trying to pry it away, which only prompted Erhardt to lift him up a bit more.
Radíms feet barely touched the ground, his hands clenched the leather mercilessly constricted around his neck. Darkness creeping from the corners of his eyes only accelerated the boys panic. Tiny blips of light danced around his vision as he struggled against the iron grip of his cruel master.
The room was filled with sounds of choking and gurgling. After a solid minute, a dull thud echoed through the concrete walls, shortly followed by violent cough and laboured wheezing.
Radíms attempt to get off the ground was met with a forceful kick in the ribs. The boy whined like a dog as sharp pain shot through his body. He wanted to crawl away but Erhardt quickly stomped on the leash, preventing any further escape attempts.
'Worthless rat.'
Radim was forced back to the cold floor by the crushing weight of Günters military boot on his back. He squirmed under the weight of the man menacingly looming over him.
‚…ungrateful vermin.‘
The malice seeping from his masters words made the young man tremble. Radíms eyes widened in horror when he heard a distinct click of Günters thick belt coming undone.
'I will teach you humility'

As I'm not good at explaining emotions I can now answer rather calmly but yk when I saw this it was such a joy I just sat down and cried😭😭😭 like really? EESU headcanons?? Erhardt/Radím headcanons?? I couldn't even dream of that 😭💖 seriously COMRADE YOU'RE THE BEST😩
Ok, now sure I'm not sleeping rn. First, I LOVE all the accent ideas. He's even cuter like that.
Second, he did dream of escaping to West Germany or Austria and so he put some effort in learning German. On the other hand he'd be made to learn some of it anyway since German is the official language which all kids in other EESU republics had to learn in schools. A mandatory second language. For East Germans the second language was Russian, as it's the official language of Soviet Union, their closest ally. And yeah, that also means Radím already knew a bit of German when he was brought to State Security headquarters in class 4 transit restraints. (Not that he didn't make a lot of mistakes tho).
I'm not sure about English and US, tho West Germany and Austria were his preferred places of escape. You're right about the circumstances; trying to learn English in EESU (if the government didn't tell you to) is a short way to be registered as a potential threat and if that's the only thing that happens, you're really the lucky one. Even the absolutely loyal citizens wouldn't risk it without a very important reason.
As for Russian, Radím didn't have an opportunity to learn it, and honestly speaking, wouldn't be much interested in doing that. Indeed, it's not an escape ticket; good luck escaping from your country right to its ally which would be happy to catch you and return you back. Handcuffed in a KGB car. In some prison clothing which will soon be replaced by a nice green (in the best case) uniform and cool looking restraint belt.
Erhardt can speak both Czech and Russian. As a long time worker (and, eventually, a ruler) of the secret police he couldn't have ended up without knowing Russian and at least a couple languages of EESU republics. Oftentimes, the most important things are those said or written not in German.
(Fun fact, one of the first of Radím's "real" State Security positions he was forced into is translating at interrogations when the detainee spoke Czech or Slovak only) (yeah, seeing his people being tortured and not being able to help).
And yes, comrade Günther prefers not to speak Czech to or in front of his pet. Now for him it wasn't just a language spoken by part of the country; it was Radím's language, as well as the language of all those people who took part in that 1963 mass uprising. Erhardt does like to "peek into Radím's mind" in secret but he made it clear he won't tolerate him speaking anything other than German in any way. If Radím tries to speak his mother tongue, he gets punished.
Also, while I know Erhardt speaks Czech, I'm not sure if he had to work specifically in Czechoslovakia at any point of his life.
Yes, Radeček does avoid swearing in Czech!!! At all moments. Except when he's drunk, drugged or in his defiant mood. Then he'd scream and swear deliberately, as to show he won't obey any of them government men, he refuses to accept what's happening to him and there's still a lot of spirit, identity and dignity inside, even if everyone else outright denies that. I'd say Radím got two usual moods - hiding it (trying to seem stoic, unaffected, invulnerable in the face of enemies) or showing it (lashing out and fighting tooth and nail for his legally nonexistent rights).
Lastly, all that kinda makes me want to do some prompts about language barriers... Ngl i just love them as a trope. Foreign whumpers are totally underrated.
Have a nice day, comrade! Wish you soon get as happy as I was when I saw that! 🥰
My EESU headcanons nobody asked for:
I read through the works of @dresden-syndrome and worked up some things about the lore, mainly concerning comrade Erhardt and Radím:
Radím has heavy Czech accent when speaking German. Despite his best efforts for proper pronunciation, the accent still peaks through whenever he speaks.
Günther finds it very cute, though he would never openly admit it. Atleast not to Radím. Instead he teases him about it. Especially his heavy R's.
Prior to his capture, Radím wanted to learn German as part of a plan to some day escape to Western Germany. The irony of his current situation makes him feel bitter. Now he’s learning German to communicate with his captor. To better serve the regime he worked so hard against. Knowing that he will never get more than a few feet away from Gunther, let alone getting away this god forsaken country.
Radím dreamed about learning English and maybe make his way to USA. However there wasn't much opportunity in Czechoslovakia to learn English. In this political minefield, attempting to learn it instantly got you put on a watchlist. As a counter-revolutionary he didn't want to draw more attention to him so he didn't pursue it.
The top choices for second language in Czechoslovakia were Russian or German. Radím learned a bit of both but focused more on German since he saw it as his potential ticket across the iron curtain.
German grammar has so many opportunities to make a mistake. Der/Die/Das, mein/meine. Not to mention the pronunciation and the unforgiving word order. This basically gives Günther a green card to punish his pet anytime he feels like it. This way its more painful for Radím because he knows this could have been avoided.
Russian is the main language used across the soviet union. So naturally, Günther as a government official must know it. He can both and read and understand Russian pretty well. He can speak Russian too but only does so when necessary, since its pretty tough for a German to speak Slavic language.
Because of that, he can understand quite a bit from what Radím is saying when he speaks Czech. Most of the time he pretends he pretends he doesn't. Its a wonderful opportunity to peek into the thoughts of his prisoner.
Günther probably also knows some Czech basics since he worked in Czechoslovakia. Its a neighbouring country and lot of Czechs and Slovaks work in Eastern Germany, since its seen as a more developed country.
Radím suspects that his owner knows a few words or phrases in Czech. He avoids swearing in Czech at all costs, since that's the first thing everyone learns. And a thing that you never forget. But it slips out so easy when you're under pressure.
Don't hesitate to correct me or share some of your thoughts about the lore! I love the story so much I can't stop thinking about it <3

Greetings comrade!
I wanted to ask you, is there anything particular that you're not comfortable seeing regarding EESU fanworks? Writings or drawings.
I often do dubcon/noncon (especially noncon touching). Drugging, forcing whumpee to hurt others etc. I make sure it doesnt break whumpee too much. I like to draw/write sexualy explicit or straight up nsfw works.
I love your work and would love to contribute with some fic or fanart. I acknowledge that some things I like are not for everyone so I'd like to know your boundaries before I do something. Last thing I'd want is to traumatise my favourite writer or ruin your passion for the characters.
On the other hand. What are stuff you'd like to see?
I sincerely love your work, Its pretty rare to military work, especially for eastern block. I like the dynamic between Radim and Gunther.
Glory to the EESU.

its not human rights violation if they arent human anymore
Hello comrade! Glory to the Supreme Commander!
First can I just say how happy am I to hear that?? You literally made my day!! I just can't believe it can happen!!!✨
Second, what I'm not comfortable with - male whumper/female whumpee (AND vice versa), noncon body modification, social rejection (yeah, sounds weird given that struggling with an ideologically brainwashed society makes a solid part of totalitarian whump) and anything close to bodily waste.
As for noncon (and dubcon), it's literally one of my most beloved whump tropes ever BUT this is SFW only blog so I'd love that but none of it will end up reblogged here. Drugging, breaking the boys (especially class 4 ones) - why not? Broken enemies make for compliant subjects, ready to do their part in the state's progress. (Not to mention they're also really cute to look at).
What I'd like to see? Honestly I don't know what I'd like more, not just because I'm already SO happy to see people wanting to do anything with that little shithole dictatorship of mine🥰 well, usual detention/sentence/designation struggles? with the prettiest whumpee boys? in absolute totalitarian state vibe?
The good news is, they don't even have to be my boys (tho it'd be really great to see any of them remembered)! EESU is not a background for my character stories. It's an open world I throw the prettiest OCs in for a well earned (shouldn't have been so cute and whumpable) fate. Anyone's welcome to try that too! This totalitarian meat grinder needs more pretty state enemy boys after all😄
And yeah, Erhardt and Radím my beloved. They're the best.💖

Political offender classification: Class 4
“Class 4 offense is an extremely societally dangerous act which endangers the fundamental structures and achievements of East European Socialist Union and socialism itself, planned and organized with deliberate intent of destruction.
Class 4 offenders are enemies of the state, violent and hostile to everything we’re standing for as people, as a country, as the socialist world.
Such vicious cold-blooded enemies and traitors have no value as human beings and cannot be made into ones; once identified, they exist to contribute to our progress by being used for their biological value.”
Notes:
Can be applied to adult males only (if you see class 4 girls, you’ve entered the all-female AU)
Mostly used in martial law time
Used for class 2-3 repeat offenders
Penalty for class 4 offenses stated in law documents as “maximal social protection measure"; most people read that as “execution by firing squad”
The whole existence of class 4 use is hidden from the general public. The EESU government actively perpetuates the death penalty myth.
Class 4 offenders are officially pronounced dead, missing or executed depending on what the state deems more convenient or effective. It can be all from enforced disappearances to fake police investigations to public mock executions.
Common terms used for class 4 offenders  are “subjects”, “biological assets”, “special testing equipment” or “human material”.
Offenses:
Any class 3 offense committed during martial law time
Political (anti-government) media public supply
Opposing political party formation
Deliberate production and/or supply of media broadcasting devices for anti-socialist agitation or propaganda purposes
Deliberate acts of anti-government propaganda in public or/and during political unrest
Organized and/or public display of contribution to the enemy states or regimes
Leaking or disclosure of top secret information
Illegal border crossing to an enemy state by a military or State Security personnel
Organized political sabotage
Political terrorism
Espionage
Treason
Penalties:
In case of class 4 the word “penalty” becomes meaningless
They’re not punished, just used for the state’s progress
Protection status:
Due to absence of human status any constitutional rights or protections cannot be applied
Further restrictions:
Can only be kept in places and facilities suitable for working with class 4 human material
Life prospects:
Most class 4 subjects’ lives end either at the vivisection table or testing site. “Outlived his usefulness” is often a common cause.
Rehabilitation possibility:
Not redeemable
Class promotion/demotion possibility:
Cannot be promoted, demoted or released
Subject use methods (designations):
ASR facilities*
Weapon/tech test sites
State Security personnel training
Military personnel training
Propaganda work
Personal use**
May be used in SSR for top secret projects and lab assistance
Legal documentation:
All personal documents are terminated except State Security investigation files and subject files
Names are replaced with assigned identification numbers
Subjects marked with identification ear tag with their ID number, applied by the end of detention

Political offender classification: Class 3
“Class 3 offense is a societally dangerous act which endangers the authority of the East European Socialist Union government and its social and political order, as well as the socialist order as a whole.
Class 3 offenders are dangerous elements with a disdain for the regime, committing crimes with an intention to destroy it.”
In 1955-1960 class 3 was the most common prisoner class as the state needed a lot of camp labor while class 4 had a problem with lack of designation places and class 2 labor communes were still being built.
Notes:
Can be applied to adults only
Used for class 2 offenses during martial law
Used for class 2 repeat offenders
May be used for class 2 and 4 offenses when the state/region is in a great need of hard manual labor
Milder penalties/restrictions for important fields skilled workers (ex. SSR)
Offenses:
Illegal country border crossing to an enemy state
Written anti-government propaganda
Anti-socialist propaganda material possession, private supply or production with an intent of such
Wrecking*
Organized acts of economical sabotage
Personal acts of political sabotage
Contact with foreigners in political purposes
Contribution to class 4 crimes
Deliberate use of media broadcasting devices for anti-socialist agitation or propaganda purposes
Leaking or disclosure of secret information
Acts of material support/contribution for the enemy states or regimes
Penalties:
Termination from the Party
Labor camp imprisonment for up to 10 years
Deportation to labor communes for life**
Protection status:
All remaining constitutional rights protected legally (but often ignored actually)
Further restrictions:
Not allowed to live outside the commune (same for class 2 communes)
Not allowed to vote
Not allowed to return to the Party
Political literacy courses after release from the labor camp
Life prospects:
Located in a labor commune after release from the labor camp
Cannot be released back into society
Life never returns to normal
Rehabilitation possibility:
Partially rehabilitated after labor camp sentence
Class promotion/demotion possibility:
Promotion to class 2 for labor achievements and political loyalty
Promotion to class 2 for good behavior
Demotion to class 4 if attempted escape
Demotion to class 4 if further political offenses committed
Prisoner use methods:
Hard manual labor for the state’s needs
Cheap unskilled labor within their commune
Cheap labor in the offender’s skill field within their commune
May be used in SSR for secret projects
May be used for other types of work in labor camp facilities
Legal documentation:
ID card replaced with rehabilitation certificate; other documentation replaced with class-appropriate ones
Names used alongside camp identification numbers
*Wrecking - acts of vandalism for political purposes.
**Usually it’s not the case. Class 3 offenders often get eventually promoted to class 2 and return back to society in boring remote towns. This process is faster for those employed in SSR.
