Do you think any of your beast cookies are obsessed with their ancients like eternal sugar was with Holly? I know you technically have charts, but I wanted to check just in case since relationships can be complicated.

Gorging topping is to an extent an “obsessive beast”! She sees bitter saccharine as someone who could understand her and when she is rejected allyship by saccharine she turns violent and lashes out against her

I’ll be real, I planned to post these later when I finished up the persona user equivalent but their designs are kicking me in the butt rn so instead just have the shadow designs for now!

Introducing the first (technically second story wise but the first shadow one is on the back burner)

Idk a name yet but the palaces owners theme is sleeping beauty, with their shadow boss’ name being belphegor (since apparently the p5 bosses are named after demons?) named after the demon of sloth

Their palaces name : “the kingdom of pestilence”

Also since these designs I actually designed for this series (unlike the previous two which while the personas were the main characters were designed earlier) I do have some designs refs

For boss - originally started as a palaquin but evolved to be horse pulled with a poppy horse (with poppies representing sleep) and its horn a spindle referencing sleeping beauty

The shadow character - this character (both shadow and regular design) and upcoming counterpart are inspired by catnap and dog day from poppy playtime! With this shadow design in particular pulling from yukiko from persona 4 and the hair specifically inspired from @tally885 design for their catnap au (which btw thank you for allowing me to reference!)

Hopefully I’ll be able to finish up the persona by next week while I juggle finals, beast swap, and other projects lmao😭

The butterfly - (have not figured out a name yet lmao, suggestions are open)

And his persona - Arachne, an electro supporter

Both of the magician persona!

His story outside the persona setting is he works in a bookstore and desires to be a published author himself, but despite the trials and tribulations he hasn’t gotten a publishing deal and so falls to a depression, only finding comfort in the powers he gains (to be expanded on later when I introduce the idea properly)

Dw cookie run will return soonish between the next persona stuff

I usually don’t post wips but I wanna ask artists more experienced in hair textures and styles for advice since I’m working on a character with stylized locs ( I think that’s the right term?) and I want to make sure I’m doing them justice!

I’ve realized a lot of my hair designs are usually just nebulous blobs of hair with small strands poking out so trying to diversify it more!
