The Phantom Thieves split up around Shibuya trying to find information on the mafia and their schemes. In the process, Ren runs into Makoto and they are approached directly by someone attempting to give them one of those sketchy part time jobs. Makoto attempts to pry more information on the mafia boss out of the guy who approached them, but fails. After this the gang agrees to stop for the day and reveal what they found out tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the school camping trip, so the IT go shopping at Junes for cooking ingredients

Back home, Yu asks Dojima about the newspaper article he was looking for. Dojima confirms that he found it, and explains it was about the death of his wife. She was killed in a hit and run while going to pick up Nanako from school. When it first occurred, Dojima couldn't bare to tell Nanako what had happened, and now vows to find out who the guy was that killed his wife, even if it means sacrificing his private life. Yu implies Nanako isn't happy with Dojima's current behavior, which Dojima doesn't like to hear, but ultimately thanks Yu for telling him. Feeling Dojima's pain, Yu's Hierophant Arcana raises to 6.
