There is a band from here in Utah @crookandthebluff that’s gets after it. As I type they are bound for a European tour. I still remember hearing “honey” live not knowing whom they are and being a bit taken back. Now I’m pretty excited to be doing some work for one of them talented youngsters @kirkdath to kind of get a feel for him I figured I would get inside his head by drawing it. It is up to all of you to bring it to life. Again 10% of all proceeds go to The Friends of Cedar Mesa. Picture this if you can, how this tattoo will be placed on the body... The ravens spanning from the left peck on to the shoulder where they are circling the Grand Teton centered on the left shoulder. Hey kids, on April 21 I will be at a spring market that will be in benefit of the Friends of Cedar Mesa and the "Visit with Respect Bears Ears Education Center" myself and a number of other artist will be displaying and selling our works. 10% of proceeds go to the friends of cedar Mesa. So as an artist it is flattering to have someone get one of your pieces tattooed on them. The permanence of such a thing is an obvious commitment. Now, have that person be your own brother. Take that one step further and say the person he whom applied the tattoo to so said brother happens to be the son of the guy that taught you much of what you know about drawing and illustration. The guy who’s drafting table you create on. There are so many tattoos out there that have very feeble meanings and are just for show and status.
