yeah this one was really hard but I learned a lot in the process, esp about colors. notice I completely scrapped that og scarlet design because she was not the right color. also those ages were just an idea, in this pic it's about 5 years before the war began.

Why/how did Gully is squarshed?

he is one dragonet from a triplet firescales egg. so not only is he fireless, his sisters horizon and aguille (owned by friends not mine) totally squished him in the egg (and horizon the triple firescales burnt up his side while she was at it)

this leaves him pretty badly disabled, his offset jaw/pierced wings/bad neck make his life harder and were the subject of a lot of bullying when he was a baby.even though his sisters protect him, when he grows up, he becomes really spiteful and cruel and kind of looks for something to help him feel like he has autonomy/some kind of power over others, which leads him into very bad places and gets him wrapped up with all the wrong people..

when horizon leaves home (because of extended trauma at the hands of the queen, and because its too unbearably hot for her anywhere but the ice kingdom) even though they are distant for a while before that, it's kind of his last apathetic straw, and he loses all sense of self preservation..his days consist of doing illegal rainwing scale imports to/from the ice and sky kingdoms, getting paid shit for it, and being scornful

I like all the possible implications of hailstorm's transformations.

1. He seriously considers his gender alignment and comes out more confident as a cis male

2. She decides that being female is better and answers some possible previous gender questions she bad.

3. He remains anonymous on gender and/or is genderqueer.

All of these are great options and I love to think about it <3

Escaping peril cover redraw

The 'rude/demanding' tone would be stuff along the lines of "if you like but don't reblog I'll [threat]" which i see surprisingly often, both serious and more silly

I fantasized a little about what one of the first children of the Clearsight and Sunstrike could be like. The dragonets are not related to the canonical ones mentioned in the book, here I was just thinking about the design.

Pantala dragons are quite different from Pyrrhyans, and because of this, it seems to me that the first cubs could turn out to be either deformed or with some mutations, defects. I also took into account that the genes in the wof are mainly from the mother, and my own design of beetlewings. First Dragonet He is devoid of any abilities, he does not have star scales and antennae have not grown, in the future there will be a very thick horn on his forehead, some scales have not grown evenly and fall off from the general group.

The second Dragonet: He has grown a second pair of small wings that prevent him from flying, but he is trying to learn. Small wings don't move well. It also turned out to be a dirty color.

And the third one: He was born under two full moons, but cannot perceive other dragon's thoughts in words, sees only pictures that often confuse him. Mutated horns with growths and too small wings, with large wing elytras, most likely he will not be able to fly. There is a poisonous thorn on the tail.

Your icewing with the blue cape looks mystical. Their fangs are beeg, and their neck chonk. What lore might we know about them? very curious about the little dragon claw (Fake?) clipping his cape together.

queen gyrfalcon used her (fraudently) gained throne to achieve her ambition of bringing the finest rainwing leather to the icewing market. she kept rainwing babies in her basement to harvest for skin, assassinated random rainwings for the same purpose, all to feed a trade of clothing made of skin, organs and other body parts, over the course of a 40+ year war after which she was beautifully and brutally murdered by the rainwing queen and turned into a taxidermy of skin herself.

she belongs to an OC world i've had with my friends since i was an eyeless bambine and any genius or smart part of her is almost entirely their invention & i take no credit
