If I had to buy shoes for work I lost a week of groceries. I heated beans in a roommate's skillet or went to bed instead, woke up early, got warm pretzels 3 for a dollar on Washington Ave walking to work in dry socks to last all day.

I remember the day I let myself own more than 1 pair of shoes, 2 jackets for different cool weather outfits. It felt comfortable, just like any betrayal.

While I'm confessing let me also say without the accent I had growing up that I've hoarded enough now to stay warm & it feels very good & it feels bad.

had a dream that I met a wizard and we fell in love and became unhealthily attached to each other so we decided to meld into one single creature together but the process was horrifically slow and painful and most of the dream was us lying in bed holding hands while lesions opened up in our skin and seeped out blue and green fluid and the wizard said "this is going to take a very very long time" and I said "that's ok"

recently someone saw my dissected frog tattoo and said “hey ur frog tattoo is really cool but i think it’s open.” i haven’t been able to stop thinking about this for weeks. what did she mean by that. does she think i walked into a tattoo shop like hello can i get one normal frog tattoo. and 2 and a half hours later the tattoo artists goes FUCK. it happened again. it’s fucking open. goddamnit
