Listen, I'm obsessed with this very niche ship! Miranda and Femshep are such a "we'd never work in a million years" pairing for so many reasons. But (my) Shep allows Miranda to slowly feel real acceptance and true companionship with no strings attached. Through Shepard's actions (mostly paragon and a self-sacrificing mentality for her crew's safety), Miranda sees the lies upon lies woven around her by The Illusive Man. A puppet on a string, just the same as her father did, but tied in a pretty ribbon this time.
