My family has absolutely zero spice tolerance whereas my spice tolerance is Kind Of High For A German Guy but I’m also friends with a lot of Indians and Latinos so this leads to me not being a good judge of spiciness level for anyone because at the level it hurts my family I can’t even taste it but I tell my friends something is too spicy and they can’t even taste it so anyways life is a beautiful mystery and I have no concept of how anyone else experiences the mysterious but beautiful chili pepper.

Trying to explain to my grandmother that people jaywalk because they don’t want to walk over half a mile to get to a crosswalk when their destination is 50 feet across the road and not because they’re lawless idiots trying to spite her specifically

"Skinny is the beauty standard!" try having muscle atrophy.. i promise you, you won't be viewed as "the beauty standard". You will be treated as inhuman and gross the same as anyone else.
Y'all need to understand the "skinny" beauty standard is a very thin line on a spectrum of how bodies can look. (of course other features play a part in if youre actually the 'right kind' of skinny, too.)

Hermaphrodite is not a slur it is the correct term for someone with a penis and a vagina. Bigenital sounds like a blood disease.
I envy the audacity, anon. Imagine saying this shit to a fucking intersex person.

Tumblr needs to stop discriminating against trans women. I was in 2 sfw transfem communities that have been removed without explanation and haven't broken any of the rules.
To the tumblr staff: We [trans girls/women] are not a fetish. We are not porn. Our existence does not violate the community guidelines or whatever. The discrimination needs to end.
Update: Both communities are back up, but tumblr really needs to get their shit together

“It’s not relevant than pocket deer boy is cis” it absolutely is when he’s a cis man and trying to downplay what trans men go through and claim we’re all privileged. You know you can uplift and support trans women without tearing down trans man, right? RIGHT?????? If a bunch of trans men are uncomfortable with what you’re saying, as a cis person the least you can do is listen and reflect instead of doubling down and trying to shield yourself from criticism by saying shit like “I’m just repeating what trans women get harassed over”. This shit is so transparent I’m begging yall to see it

this pride month, please remember that the intersex and trans communities are siblings in arms with each other. we should be here for each other and try to support one another.
intersex people are not "biologically nonbinary." nonbinary people are.
trans people do not need to be "brain intersex" to be valid in their gender identities. intersex peoples gender identities are not any more "valid" or "correct" than trans peoples identities.
someones intersex status does not mean that their trans identity is more valid than their perisex trans siblings genders.
intersex peoples experiences with their AGAB and gendered socialization will often be complicated and hard to grapple with, and the same is true of trans people. as we dismantle the concept of AGAB as a whole, we need to understand the harmful and coercive nature of how it affects everyone.
strict gendered socialization affects all of us negatively. both intersex and trans people do not experience "normal" gendered socialization and will often be othered and treated as outcasts from the gender theyre being raised as. being perisex does not excuse people from this, queer people will usually altogether experience othering from the gender they are being raised as.
anything trans people have to do to maintain their safety is acceptable in the current political climate. when people say things such as "trans people shouldnt be claiming to be intersex to escape violence or access gender affirming care," they should be doing it for good intentions. saying youre intersex often will not help you escape violence or access gender affirming care—both communities face violence and medical abuse. laws that gatekeep and abuse trans people are also intended to do the same to intersex people.
intersex people are not given easier access to medical care than trans people and vice versa. intersex people are often forced on hormones or given surgeries that do not necessarily match their gender identities—trans people are often forced to not go on hormones or be able to receive surgeries that help confirm their gender identities or relieve distress. both experience roadblocks in accessing safe medical care.
please remember our commonalities and overlap between communities. we are all in this together. take each other in good faith and hear each other out. things are not easy for any of us right now. we are all being held down and need to work together.

Hello everyone 🏳️🌈,

I'm Artisan, besides it's my group I do live with, i am a queer individual living in Gorom Refugee Camp, Juba, South Sudan. This place is supposed to be a refuge, but for me, it's a constant battle against homophobia and violence. I was forced to flee my home in Uganda due to persecution by my family and community. The pain of being rejected by those who should love and accept me unconditionally still lingers.
Daily life in the camp is a struggle. I face daily attacks, lack of police assistance, death threats, stoning, abuses, discrimination, bullying, and denial of medical care. Many of us are also deprived of proper shelter, leading to health risks such as pneumonia and we're often forced to live in secrecy, hiding our true identities to avoid being targeted.
I'm reaching out for help. I yearn for a better life, one where I can live without fear of persecution. Your support could be the beacon of hope I desperately need. Am really exhausted due to the daily threats and physical harm from fellow refugees and sometimes even citizens, inadequate assistance from authorities and aid organizations, widespread discrimination and social exclusion limited access to badic needs, healthcare is scarce.
Am here to humbly ask for your support, please advocate for LGBTQ+ protections in African refugee camps otherwise we people under the LGBTQ flag here we're losing hope, we do need your donations, amplify our stories in your media, parliaments, queer communities, and schools
Let's work together to create a world where everyone can live authentically.

Does anyone else get like. Mad. When able bodied people complain because they got a fraction of a taste of what you deal with every day? I saw a video of a woman complaining about how hard it is on her to have to actively work to be healthy (eating right, hydrating, exercising, etc) and like. Yes. Its exhausting. Imagine having to do that 100x harder because working to be "healthy" for me is being bedridden or having to weigh important chores against my body's ability or having to skip out on things I want to do because I physically cannot do them. I'm sure having to make sure you eat enough protein every day is so so hard though.

Wow, there's so much ace representation in media! You have
Cartoon character who is only "confirmed ace" on social media, lauded as an incredible stride in ace representation despite their orientation never actually coming up in the original piece of media.
Sad white teen in a YA novel/show realizing they're ace in a coming-of-age narrative.
Grey-ace in a dating sim/romance novel who exists to show that "aces can enjoy sex and romance, too!"
AroAce villain that the fandom will erase for shipping reasons anyway, so why even fucking bother.
Todd Chavez, from Bojack Horseman.
