wip but I'm far too excited to show off my newest GW2 OC, Phila 🥺💕 Her concept is a little bit "autoimmune disease", a little bit "cancerous", and a little bit "sylvari body horror".

She is a sylvari forcibly-awoken during the events of the S2 delegation when the Shadow of the Dragon attacked the Pale Tree. She was gravely injured during her pre-mature awakening and is attuned to necromantic magics!

Being a necromancer and a dragon minion of the Dragon of Life & Plants, she is predisposed to collecting lifeforce which tends to fuel her overactive structure, encouraging constant new growth without a definite "cap". Her body doesn't really know what to do with injuries, either, so it tends to try to "fix" them with more new growth.

Here's a thing I made recently - the Regal Moth Skyscale from Guild Wars 2!

This art doll has a metal wire as a skeleton, to which I added stuffing and fabric to bulk up the shape. I then added faux fur and made the details out of polymer clay, which I then painted with acrylic paints. The tail is made by a series of clay "cups" strung together with elastics, which makes it poseable. The wings have a wire skeleton which makes them poseable as well, and the wing membranes were made of fabric painted with fabric paint! The skyscale is about 27 cm long and has a wingspan of about 58 cm.

I spent way too many hours making this and one of the wings broke off as I was taking the final pictures. lol.

whacked together a refsheet for my main on na, (yet another) fvriva au! for those not in the know, fvriva is an oc I’ve had a LONG time. she’s been skewing younger lately because of rp but this version of her is an older teen that went to volunteer with search and rescue in the days of mordremoth’s collapse and got stranded, bonding with a sentient seed that became mawdrey she’s up on artfight!

I had opened up the GW2 Warp discord to troubleshoot an issue I was having and saw they had a channel for "free A.I character art." Immediately left the discord and uninstalled the program. Just so people are aware.

if you’re concerned about your creations being plagiarized, i recommend watermarking, glazing, and/or nightshading before you post in main gw2 tags!

wanna share a tiny tiny snippet of a project idea i'm playing around with -- i'd love to make little ambient/asmr-ish video loops of different scenery in gw2! i'm thinking of it as something you could throw on in the background to set the mood while writing/etc.

ideally of course the loops would be longer than this, for kind of lengthy set-it-and-forget-it youtube videos, so i'll be working on figuring out how to make seamless loops next!

if there are any particular locations you're interested in little ambient vids of, please lmk!! (it's easier if there's some way for me to get into an instance of the location if at all possible, or if it's a relatively deserted area, bc otherwise it's very easy to pick up noise from other players like mounting/dismounting, weapon skill sounds, etc.)
