“Well sorry I saved your life what… seven times? Not everything can be about you, Zuko!”

“I'm not making it about me! Your life was in danger!”

“You think I can't handle firebenders before? Zuko, I've fought you! I know what I'm doing!” Sokka shouts back, stepping forward as Zuko scoffs.

“You never faced Azula, Sokka! You could have died!”

“This isn't about just you anymore, Zuko! You have people who care about you now! You have people who need you now! I need you, I care about you!” Sokka shouts back before snapping his mouth shut, his face flushing as the bender stares back.

“You… you care… about me?”

Sokka stutters before sucking a deep breath in, walking over and taking Zuko's shaking hands with his “I… I do. I just… Zuko I need you to stop being so sacrificial. Please. For me?”

“You care about me…?”

“Oh you're such a moron.” Sokka mutters, stepping closer, planting a soft, gentle kiss against Zuko's lips, gripping his hand tighter.
