Different countries probably have different platforms to stream it on, but I watched it on Tubi for free. It used to be on netflix but I think they removed it!

It’s about Baby, a talented getaway driver who uses music to enhance his driving skills and drown out his hearing condition! He works with a group of people who perform heists, but his dream is to get away (lol) from that life and fall in love with this waitress girl instead

To sum it up, your day had been absolutely horrific.

Starting at a new school was never easy. From kindergarten to elementary to middle school to high school, the first day was always one of the worst. In your naive mind you had imagined that things would be different now! You’re grown up, so surely it wouldn’t matter. You could be grown and mature and handle this in an upstanding way.

But you didn’t, because things were quick to come crashing down!

For one, you were the only one of your entire friend group to be attending this specific university, which was just another way you were thrown into the place without any sort of preparation. It felt like everyone around you had already found their groups of people, leaving you to be entirely alone in every single classroom to walked in to.

You felt absolutely ridiculous as you walked around— Like every pair of eyes was drilling into your entire being, picking you apart one by one. Obviously this was far from true. Really, people could care less about your existence, but as you walked down long hallways the walls started to close in, leaving you trapped in your head surrounded by people you just assumed were laughing at you. Your hair, your voice, your eyes. The way you talked, the way you walked. Everything.

It was safe to say you went back to your dorm very distraught that day. To make it worse, you had walked in on your roommate with her tongue down someone’s throat, and you had instantly been shunned from your own room to leave them to their nightly routine. You felt like trash kicked to the side of the road. In your own pathetic defeat, you pulled your phone from your pocket to dial the all too familiar number.

It barely even rang before Kimi answered, his cheery voice making your sorrows feel less heavy instantly. “Y/N! How was your first day?” Your bottom lip quivered, and you sniffled to keep your tears at bay. “Y/N?” He repeated upon the lack of a reply.

“It was…” You sigh as you weigh your options in your mind. Lie? Tell the truth? “Oh, Kimi, it was awful,” you choke back a sob, quickly rubbing your eyes. You found a bench outside the dorm building, curling your knees to your chest as you clung to the device. “I felt stupid. I have no friends, first of all. And- And it felt like everyone was laughing at me. And my roommate’s a jerk.”

“Y/N…” You could practically hear his frown. He was always a sympathetic guy, specifically when it came to you. “I’m so sorry, what can I do to help?” It was in his nature to always offer you his assistance. To Kimi, you were worth the world. So despite the fact you could hear the unmistakable sounds of loud car engineers zooming by, likely coming from his sim rather than an authentic circuit, he was willing to do whatever it took to cheer you up.

You rub your weeping eyes, breathing out a weak laugh. “Nothing,” you admit rather sadly. “I just needed someone to talk to.”

“No way,” Kimi objects instantly. “Let’s go out. My treat.”

“Kimi, it’s fine, really-”

“Please? I won’t get to see you as often anyway. You’re sad, I miss you, and this restaurant has yummy food. Three birds, one stone.”

It’s hard to disagree when he makes such a compelling argument. So you laugh, genuinely this time, and huff a dramatic sigh. “Alright. Fine.”

Dinner was a delight, too. Nothing fancy, but the same old joint you two had been going to since the very beginning of your relationship together. The staff members knew you both by name, and for once that didn’t stem from Kimi’s fame. You sat at a booth, tucked away into a corner with hoods up to conceal your lackluster identities, giggling amongst each other like school children.

“I can’t believe you stole his credit card,” You laughed, hiding your giggles behind the palm of your hand. Kimi was nodding vigorously, barely able to get his words out between chaotic laughter. “Was he okay with it?”

“Well, okay as you can be in that situation.” Your laughing died down slowly, laying to rest as your locked eyes. Your expressions softened, and Kimi reached over the table to take your hand in his, his thumb smoothing over the terrain of your knuckles. You smiled, and he matched your expression.

“What?” You ask, feeling small under his intensely infatuated gaze. Nothing new there.

He looks down at your hands, and just nods with that familiar grin. “I just love you…” He murmurs, kissing the back of your palm. “It’s going to work out for you.”

Kimi is a very sweet man, but he’s rarely ever this sincere, even with you. It’s not often that you get to see the serious side of him, but you’d be lying to say it didn’t warm your heart. It felt like he was the only person to take your seriously.

“I know it will,” he continues. “Because you’re funny, smart, and super cool to be around.” He’s carelessly rambling. “And no matter what, I’ll always be here to support you.”

You swallow your feelings, wearing a cheesy smile in response to his sincere speech. “Thank you, Kimi…” You have to hold back from nearly crawling over the table to reach him, eager to kiss his stupid face. “You make me feel seen.”

“Good.”

Your heartfelt moment is broken only by the arrival of your food, which instantly lightens the heavy mood.

Despite a terribly first day, you don’t feel all that bad anymore. Not with Kimi Antonelli by your side.

“So you’re telling me you have an artist girlfriend that you’ve known since you were little?” George asked incredulously, and based off his tone he clearly had no intentions of believing a world from his younger teammate’s mouth. He had been yammering on and on about how he was excited for summer break just because it meant he got to spend more time with his girlfriend, but as soon as he spoke those words, George was quick to express his disbelief.

Kimi only perked up as he had yet to hone in on George’s tone. “Yeah!” He nodded vigorously, a cheesy grin painting his soft face. “They’re incredible— They’re going to school to major in something entirely different, but their real dream is to make money off of their art. I think they could do it but they have some self esteem issues sometimes.”

“Mate, I don’t believe this,” George interjected, shaking his head. “This sounds too good to be true. There’s no way someone so lovely would fall for you— No offense, but it just doesn’t seem plausible. I can picture you with like… Someone overly energetic. Maybe a business woman with too much to say.”

“What are you even talking about?” Kimi tilted his head, one brow raised. “Of course it’s true. Why would I lie? I can prove it! They’re coming to today’s race.”

“Pardon?”

“Yeah, I invited them. I thought it would be a good time to meet the team roughly halfway through the year.” Kimi was wearing that dorky smile of his, completely oblivious to the thoughts and feelings of his incredibly surprised teammate. George looked as if he was about to have a heart attack.

“Right, whatever you say.” With doubts riddling his mind, George brushed aside the entire conversation, chalking it up to wishful thinking from the younger.

Yet about an hour later, a shy, young individual was spotted roaming the paddock, clinging to their pass and looking uncertain of their surroundings. They arrived to the Mercedes garage, asking in a small voice to anyone willing to listen, “Have you seen Kimi?”

It was George who had answered your calls, still yet to put the pieces of the puzzle together. He nodded. “Yeah, he-”

“Y/N!” The spry Italian came rushing from his driver’s room, his excitement sending shock through his entire team. Your cheeks flushed with embarrassment, whole body growing warm as eyes turned towards you; this was something you had begun to expect when around Kimi. Attention.

It was George in particular who watched carefully as he pulled you into his arms and peppered your face in sporadic kisses, making you laugh beneath your breath in a typical shy fashion. The brit rubbed his eyes, hoping to blink away this seemingly illusioned reality. But no, you were still there, doting on your overly clingy boyfriend.

“George, this is Y/N. Remember? I was just telling you about them!” You waved politely, your hand squeezing Kimi’s for reassurance, which he happily gave in the form of a squeeze back. This was a rather big step for you as you weren’t typically one to be so openly social, but he was excited about introducing you to his team, so you made an effort despite your reservations.

“Hello,” you greet in that small voice that only made your boyfriend’s smile widen. “I hope he’s-” You take a deep breath, trying to focus on the warmth of his hands to soothe your racing mind. “I hope he’s said good things.”

Kimi shoots George a look that makes him laugh, lightly shaking his head. “Yeah, he has. In fact he’s said so many good things that I was doubting your existence at all.”

You look to Kimi, whose ears are burning up. “Well, I— I was just saying what was true!”

“Yeah?” You giggle, your tense muscles easing as the tension of the moment begins to fade away. “Like what?”

“Like… You’re a really good artist, and that you’re going to college!”

“And that you’ve been friends since you were little,” George added on.

You nod thoughtfully. “Yes, I suppose that is all true.” You try to meet George’s eyes, but they’re scarily blue and you find yourself quickly looking away, feigning interest in a different subject that wasn’t alive and breathing. “We grew up together— I somehow survived Kimi for multiple years.”

George laughed with ease, and you found yourself laughing along with him, all while Kimi playfully sulked. The taller man reached out to ruffle your hair, alongside his teammate’s. “Well I like you already, Y/N. Hope the team treats you well today.”

“Thank you,” you muttered as he walked off. You immediately turned to Kimi, eyes bright and looking for approval at the excellent display of social interaction.

“That was great, he loves you!” Kimi grins boyishly, making your own smile widen. “I mean, I knew he would, but it’s still great that he did.”

“Well, I’m glad I made a good impression.” You laughed when he leaned in, aggressively kissing both of your cheeks as he squished your face in his palms.

“Of course you did!” Kimi pulled away, lightly tugging on your wrist and earning a gentle yelp of surprise. “C’mon, let’s go see Ollie now! It’s been forever!”

“Alright, alright…” You allowed your overly energetic boyfriend to drag you along, happy to see him happy.

Most of the names have meaning! Some are obvious like Ollie, Oscar, Lando, and George (I love George he is not a jerk but the description for the chapter is why he’s been given that name) (i thought it would be funny if reader subtly teased him by making his name kinda mean)

For Kimi and Alex I once saw an artists draw them with a wolf and a thai elephant respectively, and I really liked the symbolism with it (Plus, Kimi being toto wolff’s adopted son) (joking ofc) Gabi is bubbles because that’s just. his nickname. I picked Cheetah for Isack because uhm. There was one video of Isack and Liam both saying they’d be reborn as cheetahs. So i ran with that. So yeah! They do have some meaning ^^ Though icl for most of these I was really reaching

A request for campus confessions 🙋‍♀️

(Feel free to ignore this lol)

But I was inspired by the deuxmoi hookup series post abt Lando, and while it doesn’t have to be with Lando… it’s what inspired me so I’ll be referring to the idea as if it’s him lol…

But like reader ends up in a situation with Lando (whether they actually hook up/just drunkenly do tomfoolery) and goes to campus confessions for advice on how to not completely fizzle into nothingness, as they share a class. (It’s made very vague, with the only identifying details for it being Lando is like if they were a member of a frat of a sport, or a very specific thing he does). Meanwhile he’s just kind of oblivious until one of his friends points out the gaps in their memory, and the weird similarities seen in the confessions.

Lowest of keys you don’t have to write this, it literally popped into my head five minutes ago when I was scrolling on TikTok and I thought why not send it in :)

I love your other writing for this series it’s so entertaining keep up the wonderful work!
