Ha..! Here we go again...

Okay, since my last rant is about R88 drama which ended badly and even provoked a bigger war than R94, I just wanna share my happy pills for these few weeks. R88 ship was finally sailing smoothly in 2017 but then sank in 2023 (and nasty controversy followed after the breakup) *sobs* Now, I'm gonna talk about my latest k drama obsession: Lovely Runner!

At first, I just saw news and clips about this drama then decided to watch it after ep.8 aired. So I marathoned from ep 1 to 8 and I can't stop! LOL The drama is soo gooood and I just love it. the cast, the plot, and the soundtrack are perfect.

Our main couple is adorable. You gonna blown away by their chemistry. I've been following drama news since early 2024 and finally, I got hooked. After a long hiatus from live-streaming drama (yeah, I'm impatient type) here I am going live when LR is airing. It's a Mon-Tue slot drama so I have enough time to watch it from home.

What I love about the drama is you can't predict what happen next, really. So many theories scatter here and there but I don't think there was the correct one, or at least closer to the initial plot. I was having fun reading those theories tho, hahaha. Interesting enough reading hints from that drama.

Oh, BTW, this drama is a low budget one.. you can say no one can predict this drama would blow away in SK. South Koreans is having Sunjae fever, or Soljae/Subeom craze right now. They got the highest rating and the top no.1 buzzer for drama and actor/actress.

It's been a while since I wrote on my tumblr. I almost forgot that I have this account, LOL.

What should I write?

How about my current interest? Lately, I've been drowning on J Dorama called 'Love Lasts Forever' (Koi wa tsuzuku yo doko made mo). Satoh Takeru and Kamishiraishi Mone casted as the lead role.

Story-wise, it's similar with Itazura Na Kiss : naive girl and tsundere boy. both are nurses and doctors. but... I love this drama more. I'm sorry Irie Naoki-sama, hahaha.

Satoh Takeru and Kamishiraishi Mone (takemone) chemistry is no joke! I saw some clips of their interaction off drama and successfully tingled my shipping instinct. They're so cute even they have 9 years gap! So the prod team really cast actors with real age gap like the manga. Ah yes, this drama was live adaptation from manga called An Incurable Case Disease of Love by Miki Enjoji.

I read the manga and wow, Satoh Takeru was a real Tendo Kairi. He's just a perfect fit! and both Tendo and Satoh have hay fever. What kind of destiny is this.

When I found out that Satoh Takeru was initiated more kiss scene on drama, I think he read the manga for reference. And the adlibs he did, convince me more. Too bad no sexy scene, hahaha

My Current Obsession : Reply 1988

Aigoo.. this is my third time watching Reply series. I really liked R97, got broken heart in R94 and now.. giving my support to Kim Jung Hwan. At first, I didn’t follow any news about this series. But since my group chat talked about it from July, I just notice there will be Reply 1988. When they announced the cast, honestly I didn’t know anybody except Hyeri, hahaha.. I didn’t know Park BoGum, or Go KyungPyo, even Ryu Jun Yeol! Who the hell they are LOL.

And then on some news Shin PD said this time they will focus on family drama.. I said..okay..that would be nice, I’ll give it a try. When ep. 1 aired, OMG, i fell in love with this series! I just loooove their family dynamics and interactions. Really brings memory about my childhood. Next to ep.2 .. BAM! Husband hunt game begins *goatsound* Oh, please.. I don’t wanna ship anybody.. I’m traumatized from R94 and don’t wanna feel the pain again. I know this kinda hyperbolic, but I became this mentally & emotionally invested only for Reply series. This time I promised to my self that I’m not gonna overlook any clues, hints, or theories that PD throw to viewers. I’m gonna focus only to how the story flows. But I can’t resist to read so many analysis about those clues, it’s fun to read though. I’m amazed how people would notice those tiny clues, hahaha..

At the beginning, I tried not to ship anybody. But, I couldn’t resist Kim Jung Hwan’s charm, LOL and here I am.. joining #TeamJungHwan and of-course #TeamLowExpectation and #TeamNoExpectation, hahaha. But at first, it really doesn’t matter who the husband is, as long as the story is consistent. From what I see, it fits JungHwan. So yeah..

It was frustrated enough to see how this “triangle” being dragged until episode 16. But, I realize it’s a family drama after all. And they’re focusing on family matters than love-line. I’m still waiting for Friday! Can’t wait to see how this story will unfold.

Lastly...AAargh... can’t believe that R88 will ended in 2 weeks *sobs* How I’m gonna live without Ssangmundong family.. Now I’m replaying all episodes including BTS (I have no life) :D
