Ok, so I've had this thought about Shauna, Tai, and Lottie for a while now that I don't think anyone has brought up. And, now that this most recent episode showed that they are the only people who want to stay in the wilderness, I feel compelled to share. I feel like Shauna, Tai, and Lottie sort of embody the being haunted thing more than anyone else in the show, and they each embody a different sort of haunting, namely past, present, and future.

Shauna is haunted by the past, Jackie and her baby died, and when they died, she became a different person. There isn't a day that's gone by where she's not affected in some way by those deaths. She spends the next 25 years post wilderness hallucinating Jackie thinking about the past.

Tai is haunted by the present. She tried so hard to move on, and at the start of the series, she outwardly seemed like the most well-adjusted yellowjacket post wilderness. But, she spends her days fearful of other Tai showing up, and also the man with no eyes, to the point where she drives away her family because other Tai is making it unsafe for her to be around them.

Lottie is haunted by the future. She seemingly is getting visions of the future and can't seem to articulate what they mean until it's too late. She sees the explosion of Laura Lee's plane and what appears to be the location of her own death when she's getting baptized. However, none of that forsight saved either of them. She also saw that car crash when she was little, and the only reason it was prevented is because she was screaming and her parents didn't know how to react.

The past, present, and future of it all has been so ingrained in these 3 characters, and it's been driving me insane.
