She's packing supplies for the next venture! This time, she's heading for the village Tah'Remi Omis in the mountains for a little while! Maybe the residents up there will need her aid for something!

The leaves of Laeali Forest were finally beginning to turn over shades, trading their verdant green for firey oranges, scarlets, and golds.

Danabird awakes to a gold leaf that floats down to rest on her snout, causing her to sneeze. She looks upward, and finally, she sees it. The transition of fall was much more clear this morning.

"Oh my gosh!"

"The time of Harvest is almost here!"

She'd already wandered into this place unawares and unsure as to WHERE exactly she'd ended up this time. The portals at home sometimes had a way of transporting you to different dimensions entirely if one wasn't careful. Yet here she was.

She'd caught the attention of a resident in this place, and while she would reciprocate the level of excitement being expressed, she had no idea who this woman was or what they wanted. And quite frankly, she wasn't sure if she wanted to stick around!

Thus! She has chosen to run away because HELP A STRANGER IS CHASING AFTER HER!!!

They trot up to her and drop a little golden harmonica at her feet. It’s very shiny!

Oh! Well this is a new item! And a new critter frankly!

She watches the small beast trot right up to her and... plop! It dropped a strange golden contraption! before scurrying off!

The dragoness leans down to sniff at this strange thing. Nothing out of the ordinary besides being made of gold. She decidedly baps at it a few times, trying to understand what this thing is, but to no avail! So instead, she decides to pick up the item in question and drop it right into her leg pouch!

Maybe Kage could figure this one out later!

The truth was, while flying through several rings of fire to take down the enemy was flashy, the time it took to set up such a scene took much too long and had much to be desired.

Somewhere, a shadow was shaking her head despondantly.

((Gonna redo my approach for how I write Malevyks here when I eventually pick this blog back up .v. After finally finishing his story piece from his early years of exile, it's given me a better idea for his character!

Speaking of, I wanna post his little story here somehow. The whole thing is 17k words so idk how I could post that in chunks here

The chapters have been broken up into digestible pieces but certain chapters are long and idk if they'll cap at the word limit

((Something I've been rolling around in my head is whether or not DB has killed anyone, and I've come to the conclusion that yes! She has!

When it comes to nonsentient things, she'll kill them with no problem if they're a threat. It's when there's a creature that holds sentience that's becoming a threat that she struggles a bit with actually outright killing them. DB believes in giving folks a chance. She'd like to at least say she tried to extend a hand out before she even had to fell them. She never feels great about it.))
