The DST Art Collab is closed!!

For those participating, you have until Feb 21, 8pm CST to submit your pieces!  You can submit by posting your art, your theme, and tagging this blog! If you don’t submit by the deadline, you and your partner will be exempt from the vote! Thanks again to all who participated!! I did the bg and gestalt, the Queen did the amazing characters and boat, and we both worked on the idea and staging!!

Quick Update!

Im extending the deadline for the collab to February 20th to account for delays between partners!

collab with @mafmafworld for @dst-collab-2020, our theme was lavish! we had the idea to do our sketch and lineart individually and then we swapped for colors!

The DST Art Collab is officially open for applications starting today to Jan 20th! Dm me if you’d like to participate!

The DST art collab pairs two artists together with a theme and the artists can work together anyway they like to create a piece of art! Examples of a prompt would be ‘stalked’, ‘shadow’, ‘chase’, and other similar words to inspire your art.

On Feb 10th, we will vote on the best use of the theme, and the winners will get a small prize of a skin in DST. 

If you have any trouble with your partner, or just cant participate, DM me. Lastly, while we prefer the art be related to Dont Starve, you can throw in some unrelated elements as well!

This event is also running on the official DST Discord! If you’d like to participate in both, you’re welcome to!

DST Art Collab Update

Hi guys, this is just a quick update now that I've organized this event on the discord server.

Both the tumblr event and the discord event will start Jan 11th - Jan 20th! Applications will be open both here and on discord, but the events are still separate from each other.

Dont Starve Collab Project 2020

Hello survivors!

The Dst Collab project is for any and all artists and fans of Dont Starve. Those who apply will be paired with another applicant and a random prompt. Artists can work together any way they like, such as one doing linework and the other coloring.

How it works:

You can apply by either DMing me or sending me an ask with your url.

After the deadline, I will pair you with your artist and their url as well as your shared prompt.

If you have any problems reaching your partner or conflict, DM me.

I will also be running this event on the Dst discord server. The rules are the same there.

This event is not currently open and will start sometime early 2020, so look out for that post sometime in the future!

I look forward to hosting this event and the lovely art that will come from it! Please share this post with someone you think would be interested!
