Lavinia !!
“No offense Sparkle Slut but I have been knowing you almost all my life on land and you are anything but mysterious. You’re very predictable. I hate to break it to you.” A pitying look on her face. Something must have clearly gone wrong here and he caught some wrong genes. Sure, Ash was a trickster, but mysterious? Even when he was fooling you, you knew what you were dealing with. At least, from her experience. “Cool,” it was definitely not the right time for parties but she did hope those would happen once the mourning process had somewhat passed. The wounds still fresh, she was not here to offend or hurt anyone, anyway. “So… you have a lot of time for a lot of play?” She asked, considering it for a moment. “Then let’s take all the damn time. Come by me later – oh, and bring some of your fun fae things.”
“HA! Nah I am not meaning me. I know I am not mysterious. I don’t try to pretend that I am either. There is enough of that going around for me not to take part in,” he shook his head. He was a black sheep of his species and knew it. He wasn’t going to change his ways to be like them he was happy being him. “I like being predictable, pranking asshats that deserve it. Having lots of sex. Being a disgrace to my race. Okay maybe not like. I love it,” he smirked. “So much time… I’m at the point where I’m hoping if I prank enough people I hope they just banish me so I can leave,” he shrugged. “I can summon those at will don’t need to bring anything,” he would even walk across the village naked.

Estela !!
— at the moment, she didn’t really care much about who was behind anything. she wasn’t going to put blame on a queen she’d never met when she could have just been used by whoever was behind it to bring them here. she knew how politics worked that way a lot. “ thanks, ” she nodded, allowing herself to be lead forwards as she contemplated her response. she gave a nod at his mention of her family but remained silent for a few minutes, leaning into him as they walked. “ i mean, i didn’t want to physically harm them. ” she said finally. at least, not in the beginning. torment first. then… she didn’t think she cared what happened. “ and i do want my relationship with my brother back. ” she added. she missed him. they’d been close as children, but he’d followed her mother, more than anything, it seemed.
She needed time to come to terms with what happened problem was denial was way to easy when you don’t see something happen. Who in here actually knew what happened? It was difficult her relationship with her family was more complicated than his. He put the middle finger up to his father’s expectations but his father wasn’t a sociopathic dictator just a snobbish dickhead. Ash wouldn’t push her so gave her the time and walked along with her putting his arm round her for comfort. “Tell me what you did want, there is no judgement here,” he reassured her. “Well hopefully when this mess is all over and we can go between realms more freely we can get a better picture and who knows what you may discover,” that’s if they ever get out. That was the hope that Ash was keeping to himself. He didn’t hate living here he just liked his freedom.

Young !!
❝ No, with Archangels being here I am safely not the eldest one here. Though you are not much older than a Millennia yourself. Some of the younger ones would count you with us, ❞ he teased. From those in their early twenties to beings that existed long before he was even born. As Ash went on about dicks Young just nodded along. ❝ Well I appreciate the compliment from you but aren’t you tooting your own horn a bit there? ❞ He saw the opportunity to poke some light fun at the fae. He gave the opening and Young was never one to back down from it. ❝ It’s low hanging fruit I’ll give you that, ❞ he shrugged. He was yet to meet those of his kind that rather they were like the vampires in those books. Though sparkling skin in the sun would be less painful than turning into ash. Also the inability to sleep was not something that sounded pleasant. However some of the more reclusive vampires may be less inclined to know what twilight was. ❝ You used a low hanging fruit so forgive me for using one for yours, ❞ he smirked. ❝ Or am I going to get glitter bombed now? ❞ He asked. He would not be surprised If the answer was yes.
“True, very true,” he nodded and sighed. “Maybe I should age myself a bit. Grow a sagely white beard and start calling everyone kids. You’ve always looked like that… well maybe the hair is different. How does that work by the way considering you guys are technically dead?” He asked. “You didn’t complain last time or were you just being polite cause if so we can just go for drinks then,” see how he liked that one. Pulling the no sex card. “To some of you it is. There are some who have no idea what I am talking about, though there are plenty of those in this realm that never know what I am talking about,” a sad truth because some never went beyond the realm itself. Tinkerbell was something he like to call some of the pixies. They definitely had no clue. “It is low hanging,” he huffed. “Only if you don't buy the first and second round in apology,” he smirked. Might as well get some booze out of it. Otherwise he could come up with a plan to glitter bomb the original vampire and take a picture and tag it as Edward and send it to the gossip blog. Now that he was thinking about it he kind of hoped the vampire would refuse.

Julian !!
THE DARKLIGHTER LISTENED CLOSELY , nodding his head in thought . it was likely that the tower was guarded , so it probably did not make any sense to show up there and test his luck . besides , he knew next to nothing about this world . even if no one stopped him and julian managed to retrieve anything at all , he wouldn’t know what to do with it . ❛ you know what ? i actually believe you . ❜ not just because fae could not lie , but it was difficult to imagine that someone would enjoy this . having their own freedom taken away from them . ❛ any chance you know what gave your queen this … brilliant idea ? ❜
Ash looked at him and cocked his head slightly when the darklighter said he believed him. What was there not to believe? To be fair the guy barely knew him. What did his belief get him? Nothing. It wasn't worth saying out loud, so he moved on to the guy's question. “I believe some of it stems from the death of her mother but not on a personal note. I am not privy to council matters nor do I ever want to be. I don’t have the attention span to listen to them. However I digress. I think it’s partially to do with them as well. You think they would willingly magic up a cafe, accommodation for a rash decision made by a queen that is still fresh on the throne? They care little for outside affairs normally. That’s just a theory though,” He didn’t rightly know. He didn’t know who did either.

Lavinia !!
“Understandably so. This place sucks ass,” she told him, pulling a face. Yeah she heard about ash’s family being politically involved, lavinia didn’t understand half the things ash was telling her then about it. She was just a young siren, trying to understand the new world she just decided to stay in. And then there was ash. Introducing her to so many fun things. “mhm, they do. Well, so far all i have been seeing are the bar, the beach or my room.” she sighed, giving him pleading eyes. “yes please. Orgies. Parties. Orgyparties. Anything, i’m so desperate for fun.” she nudged him in the side, “and if you’re ever in need to get down, you know… i got an itch.” since she got here, especially. “if you have five minutes to spare – i bet i will only need three of them.”
“Yes it does, it’s just oh look at us being so mysterious in our trickster ways,” he said in a mocking singsong voice. “Seriously we are just as uptight as those elves in lord of the rings here. If not more so,” he was a black sheep to say the least and would have rather have been born any race other than Fae. Being a dragon would have been fucking cool. Even if he couldn’t cast magic. He liked being able to cast illusions but that was really all he was good for and some maybe rudimentary spells. “I’ll let you know if I am organising one anytime soon,” though he was probably going to wait a little longer you know to show respect after all he did have a rather odd parental attachment to one of the shadowhunters. “Always. I only have time,” he smirked. He was always in the mood when it came to certain people.

Eudora !!
It didn’t even matter what he actually said, the fae’s voice already had Eudora’s eyes rolling in their sockets, and there was a deep inhale already taken, ready for an exasperated sigh as soon as he was finished. If he ever finished. “What it makes me, is wanting to take my heels and shove them down your throat, Ashley.” Her arms crossed over her chest, pulling a face that was both confused and disgusted. Confused at his next words, in reference to something she’d never heard of. And disgust, because… well, because she was forced to talk to Ash, of all people. “You can’t even come up with insults that make sense anymore. It’s pathetic.” She glanced away, trying to search for anyone, or anything that would get her out of this situation. The news of her and her sister’s secret was rushig through the realm rapidly. Not that she would mind. At least from now on, she’d actually be treated as she deserved.
“Deep throat, nice,” if he could win anything in life it would probably be the most annoying and he would be proud of it. Though his eyes betrayed a subtle annoyance at his full name being used. It wasn’t hard information to obtain and he wished it was. His middle name would be better but then he would get confused with that kid who looked like he was staring in some serial drama. “They make sense, just not to you Dora the Explorer,” it’s not his fault she didn’t keep up with mundane things. Though how he came across the show was an odd accident on his part. Kid’s television for mundanes was… odd. “So have you shouted off with their heads yet now that you have the power to do so? Or do you have that power, because if you do then nobody would be left,” that was a bit of a scary thought. Not as scary as some of the thoughts he’s had but still a scary one.

Gabriella !!
the glitter did last for months so that was not much of a surprise. anytime someone saw glitter once more they would think of the prank he pulled. “it would be remembered for a good amount of time.” she agreed with the smallest nod of her head. finding herself tracking his movements a little closer now that she knew his species she was anxious. giving a small nod she was at a loss of words. how was she supposed to act around someone so close to the queen? “no. i would not say bothering.” which was true. bothering is not the word that she would use to describe it. not expecting the comment about his father it caused the brunette to pause for a moment uncertain how to respond to that in this moment. “glad that i am not taking much of your time.”
“Why I use it, so arseholes can remember I can be their pain in the ass if I want to be,” his obsession with glitter was a healthier release than what he actually wanted to do. Though he always kept silent about that. He noted her behaviour and it did worry him. “What would you say, out off curiosity? If you want I could prank them. No promises though,” if it was someone close to him he did try to refrain from glitter pranks. Fun laughter inducing tricks maybe. “I think most of us have time here. Nothing but time…” he shrugged and had to remind himself that there had to be a greater plan behind this. “Anyway I am Ash,” he introduced hoping maybe at least giving his name may add a little familiarity and put the mundane at ease.

— she pulled away slightly, enough that they could walk, but kept one arm around him, not really ready to let go. “ a muffling spell is probably smart wherever we talk, ” she nodded, realising that she wasn’t sure it would be good for anyone she didn’t trust to know what she was thinking. and she didn’t want someone who was just passing by to overhear. although in this realm, it was not much of a secret that she wanted very little to do with most shadowhunters. she thought this might be a bit worse. she hadn’t even told maiya. “ the spring sounds nice, ” she said quietly. “ i’m upset for all of the wrong reasons. ” she mumbled after a minute.
Ash agreed, in these times it was best to cast one anyway. His faith in his own kind was a little shaken but he didn’t know who did this. However he didn’t trust those behind it not to have some kind of sway over some of those here. He was a black sheep anyway that had good favour with the Queen. She was his friend after all no matter the title. “I’ll keep it up. You can speak freely,” he told her. “We can go there then,” he nodded with a sad smile and started to walk in the direction towards the cliffs. He had a feeling what these wrong reasons were. Her family. “Your family?” He asked to make sure his assumptions were correct. Could be something completely different. However he knew about El’s feeling about her parents. They were worse than his. Made his father almost seem tolerable. He was also not a stranger to arranged marriages either. To be under their control she must have wanted some for her own.

;; Closed starter - Eudora @kosmogang
“So heard the news, does that make you the wicked half sister, or a princess?” Ash knew it was lame in fact it was probably the worst he has done in a while. It worked through if it got Dora the Explorer riled. “Have you spotted swipper today?’ He asked as his mind was on dora the explorer. “That troublesome fox needs to learn his lesson,” this was the prime material. Though he wasn’t sure Eudora actually got it. Not that it mattered it amused him. Ash didn’t hate Eudora, far from it he enjoyed teasing her until she lashed out on him. He enjoyed that part a little too much. These were things that Ciri would probably be better off not knowing… Now that he thought about it and that he now knew they were siblings. Did Ash feel any sense of shame? Nope not really.

Julian !!
SO HE WAS A FAERIE OF SORTS , that was good to know . the darklighter did not spend a lot of time around those before . ❛ i don’t think it is about what we can or cannot see . ❜ it was easier to expect one of the bad guys to be the killer , but they could not possibly know if that was the case - not until they found them . ❛ were there any traces of fae magic ? ❜ perhaps he knew more about it than julian did . as far as he was concerned , it could have been anyone . there were countless powerful beings in this realm , but at the end of the day it only took a moment of inconvenience and even a mundane could murder a horseman .
Ash shrugged he didn’t really understand. He was never a fan of his kind in the first place and the fact that they conveniently locked up. Either someone was a well informed opportunist (which it totally could be Ash wasn’t denying that) or someone who was involved in all of this. “Not been to the murder site but by now whatever magic that was lingering would be gone. You may be able to get remnants but that’s out of my skill set,” he told the guy. So to be fair it might not be a fae. For him it was hard to see past the convenience. Maybe he was just directing his own anger at being a black sheep. He took a drink and sighed. “I hate being cooped up here just as much as you guys,” confessed. Has father now deciding that it’s been long enough and he contribute to the family.

Cirilla !!
AS SOON AS SHE SAW ASH APPROACH she let out a sigh of relief . She smiled at Niamh as she excused herself before she turned to her friend . “ You have no idea how much I appreciate that . ” She was not sure if she could have handled another second of that woman’s blabbering . She nodded at his suggestion , beginning to walk towards the balcony , a handful of guards already beginning to follow behind . Once they were there , and the guards stayed in between the room and the balcony ( trying to give them as much privacy as they could ) she began to answer his question . “ For one thing , I would rather not be here . ” Like her court , she did enjoy to dance , drink and be merry , but right now ? She just wanted to escape . “ But I’m … I don’t know . ”
“I have been stuck with her before I can hazard a guess at how inane the conversation was,” he shrugged. He followed with her as they got out of the balcony. He really felt for Ciri. He would hate being constantly watched. She was in the middle of something big as well and having to placate a court that could care less. “You and I have both have experiences outside of here. They don’t. So they have little understanding or cares for the gravity of the situation we are in. Doesn’t make it any less frustrating. You’ve shown enough face though. We are talking important matters anyway doesn’t matter if it’s important to them. You don’t have to go back if you don’t want to,” he reassured them. Her well-being was important to him. “I’m here for you we can talk or I can distract you with illusions of what you want to see,” he suggested. He was hoping maybe she may have some answers. However he wasn’t going to fish for them. If she was willing to talk he would listen.

Young !!
❝ Ancient yes, it’s no secret, ❞ he has been on the world long enough to forget his exact age which happens after a certain point in most that lived through multiple millennia. Young always found Ash easy to be around he wasn’t one to take things seriously. Which Young was happy enough to go along with. His mind was something of a mystery to him. Young decided to let the Fae be and not guess how he thinks. He felt doing that might just pull him into some kind of insanity. ❝ I appreciate the compliment, ❞ he chuckled shaking his head. ❝ Can’t say I have ever compared though, ❞ he shrugged. ❝ I would argue but I guess what ever makes you happy. Why are you so obsessed with it? ❞ he decided to ask. Not sure what kind of answer he was going to get. He chuckled at his response and listened to him go on. ❝ Please, I feel you’re only doing this to try and annoy me, Ashley,❞ Young can push buttons as well.
“You’re not the only ancient being here at least,” it was weird to be surrounded be those who were actually older than him than the older members of the fae court. He didn’t mind to be fair. “You should big guy,” he growled playfully. “It’s not the size anyway it’s how you use it. You and I both know how though,” he shrugged. When it came to skill there was no need, but it was also to do with compatibility some people click that way well and sometimes they don’t. “I’m not I just use it to wind up vampires. Though that Carlisle is a dream boat,” his voice went higher in a mocking fashion at his last remark and chuckled. “I like getting reactions. Twilight gets reactions from you guys,” he smiled. “OH are we playing that game Mr Lee?” He called out. He hated his full name HATED it. Couldn’t his parents have just dropped the last three letters. It wasn’t the femininity of the name. Ashley was a unisex name. He just had an irrational hatred of the name. Perhaps because of the way his father says it.

Lavinia !!
“Oh… You’re home, here?” She wondered. But yes, it was only obvious. A pretty stupid question from her, everything here had her wondering and confused. Inclusive how the hell she got here and what kind of damn blackout she must have had the night before. “So, why don’t you just grab that twin of yours and go away from annoying daddy with no sense of humor?” Her brow quirked. It was probably simpler said than done, but what did she knew? She abandoned people she loved already more than once in her life and it didn’t fix anything. “Oh yeah. What the actual fuck — is exactly what I have been thinking since I’m here. And I got here like… uhhh a few days ago? Honestly, my memory is a little bit blurry.” Lavinia admit, “Yes Sir, and since this is your home, you better show me around and don’t you dare leave out the fun places.”
“Yes, welcome to the Seelie realm my home… that I have conveniently been running away from most of my life,” he smirked. “Ah that’s because Ross is in a court position. If he disappears it’ll be noticeable and he’s never one to cross dad,” he sighed. He would love if it were that easy. “Nobody can escape now anyway,” he shrugged. “It’s pretty much on everyone’s mind I think don’t need mind reading powers to guess that much,” god that would suck though. Imagine hearing everyone’s actual thoughts… Ash half shuddered at the thought. “Days merge here I find. Not sure anyone actually knows what day of the week it is here…” he certainly didn’t but then what did it matter if it was a Tuesday or a Saturday. “Ah the tour sure. The fun places you mean where we have orgy parties now and then?” He smirked.

— she clung to him, fingers clenching around the fabric of his shirt as she buried her face in his neck. “ i don’t know what i want. ” she mumbled. “ i’m— i don’t want to talk about anything here in case anyone overhears… ” she added after a minute. she didn’t know what she really wanted. she felt guilty that she didn’t actually feel as devastated as the rest, even though she was sad. she just… everything was too much. “ i don’t know if i want to talk or if i want a distraction… ? ” she trailed off, ending in more of a question. she didn’t really understand the point of destroying the whole city… or killing death or the clave member. she didn’t really know how to process anything.
Ash grabbed her back gently as she spoke he kept an eye on the institute just incase. He wasn’t here to antagonise them but he knew most of them must be on high alert right now in the middle of the fae realm. Was it them that caused the attack or someone else. Could It have been the circle themselves wanting some proof that the downworlders should be eliminated? Ash didn’t know and he had a feeling most would be in that boat. “It’s fine I can cast a muffling spell so they can’t hear you,” he suggested. “Or we could start walking when you are ready to move,” he suggested. “Let’s start walking anyway and if the mood takes you can talk otherwise I know a route that takes to us to a nice spring with a stunning vista,” he liked to go to that spring when he needed peace or somewhere to think.

Marcus !!
( @dihstarters. )
It had been in Marcus’ best interests to go against his own judgement and lay low whilst he had gathered as much information on the alien realm he’d woken up in, courtesy of the Seelie Queen and her apparently mysterious ways. Between the jackhammer threatening to bust through his skull thanks in part to the night before, to the very natural disorientation he’d experienced in finding himself surrounded by places, people and creatures that he knew well enough would never have been so… outwardly themselves, to put it lightly, it’d been quite difficult for the witch to actually pull enough of himself together to find some form of authority and start getting loud.
As such, he’d ended up on the sidelines, looking in on all the dramatics. Of course, he wasn’t all that upset with sitting back and observing– especially when things had started to get complicated, and messy. … And given the temperament of several current residents, probably murdery.
At that thought, even he couldn’t contain (as if he’d ever been all that wonderful at containing any of his urges to begin with) the long, drawn-out exhale that escaped him before he carried the tumbler full of whiskey from the bar top to his mouth, only to pause halfway and slowly begin to roll the liquid around the edges of the glass, idle eyes following the change in light for the few brief moments that his attention had been captured. The fact was that the answers he’d been trying to find still eluded him, even months later, and he still couldn’t shake ever-looming tension that hung in the air thanks to the by-now stale revelation that the Seelie Court had gone out of their way to essentially blackmail everyone that they’d pulled from other realms; Heaven, Hell, everything else that had been shoved in the middle– no one, it seemed, was safe from their wrath.
It bothered him far more than it should have.
Marcus had only the vaguest of ideas what they they’d learned about him, no idea who they’d told or what they’d do with that sort of information, but whatever leverage they thought they’d found, whichever horrible, terrible thing they’d dug up about him… he’d freely admit he’d sooner go through a thousand and one trials to keep things under wrap than try to be some sort of hero about it. He was, after all, a coward through and through.
Enough, his mind practically commanded, suddenly desperate to block out or numb any sort of deep thought, and all at once the glass in his hand was tipped backward against his parted lips. As soon as the burn dissipated, Marcus was turning to the person nearest him at the bar and opening his mouth to blurt out something inane and mindless, fairly uncaring what the other thought of him in that moment.
“Ya know what I just realised? Seelie alcohol could absolutely– absolutely –mean Seelie weed. Is that… that’s gotta be real, right?”
Ash, was a frequent drinker at the bar. Any place where he can pick up someone for a little fun. He had managed to pick up some fun people that way. The witch who now has one of his homemade glitter bombs, and some others that may have been brought back to his cabin in the woods or if they wanted to be more one with nature out and about. Ash was pretty much up for most things. So long as it wasn’t boring. His mood had been somewhat dulled but he still kept his spirits up. Well as much as they could. It sucked not having the whole picture and because he was a fae everyone expected him to have an actual idea of what is going on. He had no fucking clue. as if they would tell him anything. Because he was friendly and liked to talk. Not be some stuck up aristocrat (though his brother was not like that either).
So here he was with a glittery drink this time. That bartender knew how to make him smile and a sparkly drink was the ticket. He took a sip and stared at it for a good moment until he heard another speak. His brown eyes flicked over to the other in amusement. “It’s real alright and not illegal. There’s some amazing plants that have some psychedelic effects. Some have calming and some that have more negative effects but are harmless. Why do you think our cocktails are so good?” he smirked. “You can go in the woods and get some plants from there. Some have potion making properties but don’t ask me which ones I never listened in that class. But a really fun plant looks like this,” he stated as he cast an illusion spell to project the image of the plant. “Burn that and you’ll have a high like no other. Also good for the sexual drive if you make a tea from it. Never had it that way but I’m sure my dad swears on the stuff,” he shrugged. “I definitely don’t need anything for mine,” he winked to the witch.

Cirilla !!
CLOSED STARTER FOR ASH ( @dthbygltter )
THEY WERE AT WAR AND HERE THE QUEEN was, playing hostess for a small gathering at court. You would think that with all the problems that a party would be the last thing happening, but that was the thing with the Summer Court—they were a court of pleasure and passion. Their court is lighthearted, carefree, and aren’t very worried about responsibilities or consequences. So in order to ease their worries, if that meant that she had to host a small party within her castle walls then so be it. Their guards were on high alert and checking everyone who came in ( it was invite only ) so there was really no danger… hopefully. Cirilla sipped on her wine as she listened to some elder faeries’ story, going on and on about something back in their day. Anytime she tried to step away, the fae would latch onto her arm to make sure that the Seelie Queen stayed and listened. She could not even bother holding a look of some semblance of humour or interest in their story. So when she spotted Ash in the crowd, her eyes met his and they read Help Me.
Ash as much as he loved the summer court fae felt that even this was a little tasteless. However he had been tempted in with alcohol and the fact that Ciri would be there. He wanted to know how she was holding up after the whole reveal. Thing was the poor queen was held up by the rest of the court so Ash hadn’t had a good moment to catch up to her. That was until her eyes met his. ah she was with Niamh. That was never good. Ash smirked as he thought of a great idea to peel away Niamh.
He walked over and put his hand on Niamh. “Darling Niamh, my father wishes to speak about some proposal you have been nagging him on for years about,” he told her. Unfortunately it was true. He has already stated that he will try and get him married while he was stuck here. Apparently fourth is a charm and that he needed to settle down like his brother. Ugh. As he heard an excited squeal he looked to Ciri. “How you holding up? Let’s take a few of your trusted guards and go to the balcony,” he suggested. He knew he couldn’t get total privacy with her but something like that would be the next best thing

the smirk only caused her irritation for the other to grow. it seemed that he and glitter had something in common. was not disappearing easily. “you want to last for months?” she asked curiously not certain the right outcome here. to speak. not to speak. if he was dangerous. the glitter did not seem dangerous? not is the way she thought of danger. looking towards the figure he pointed out her interest fell at the mention of the court. it fell even further t the mention of the queen. feeling her anxiety begin to creep from the pit of her stomach she pressed her lips together as she deciphered the best outcome. “i should let you get back to your work..”
“Yup, my annoying tactics should be remembered for months,” he nodded. Not much can be done about being annoying. Blood for blood protected him there and it wasn’t as if they didn’t deserve it. He then noticed the girl becoming more anxious. Ash was annoying she didn’t have anything to be scared of from him. Not unless she actually harmed those he cared about. Which was unlikely coming from her. “You okay? Anyone been bothering you?” He asked genuinely concerned. “Also my work is just pranking people and being a disappointment to my father so you’re not taking much of my time. If anything you are probably doing someone a favour,” he shrugged.
