U know what pisses me off these days with pop stars. They’ll have a bts of a music video but it’s literally the song playing over them shooting the scenes to the music video (just so they get more streams!). Whatever happened to making the video and actual behind the scenes?

I think she’s been writing about the slow demise of her relationship with Joe since folklore, but she was trying to fight for it, hence disguising it as fictional or in Midnight’s case, the album’s concept was her doing some reflecting on her past. I’m a bejeweled is about Joe truther, and also Matty was the 1 (the 1… the 1975… it was hiding in plain sight!). It seems she’s been running from Matty since Calvin (she sings about it in Chloe, Sam, Sophia, Or Marcus). That’s truly the biggest plot twist to me. We don’t know much about it because there seems to be a gap in the timeline between 1989 and reputation (shout out to all the missing album truthers out there).

Hey babe I’ve listened and ur right there’s a lot to take in! I saw the spoilers when it got leaked si knew what to expect when it came to lots of Matty. I was hoping for Joe tea but the Matty coffee is even more piping in ways.

It’s funny bc we all laughed when Calvin got no songs to himself and he still hasn’t (unless ur a bejeweled and high infidelity truther). Now I kinda think it’s less about the length of the relationship and more about how it ends. Like with Joe it sounds like it died slowly and she was bored and he did nothing to fix it, but maybe didn’t actually do anything terrible. But Matty was so bad he deserves jail!

I think more Joe tea could come eventually maybe down a “fictional” folklore route of writing. But idk if it’ll be juicy, we kinda have most of the picture now.

Hi babe, good q. What I will say is it’s not just Taylor doing that, it’s most artists who have a big enough budget. Even Billie (who complained about it for environmental reasons) did multiple variations of vinyl her last album. JLo and Olivia R also did it recently (i don’t follow male artists so I’m not just picking on the women here!). But I guess Taylor is the biggest and with a fan base who love to collect shit. She was doing the it even back for 1989 when each cd would come with different Polaroids. IMO it’s obv the record labels who come up with this and once they see the fans will eat it up, they keep doing it for every release. Although Taylor has a lot of power, she’s still on a record label and I think there’s certain things she just has to go with when it comes to the label wanting to make as much money as possible. I think the fans for the most part are aware that it’s all about money (she could just release those 4 songs as a deluxe edition instead) but they’re so sucked in, they think they need it all. Social media also plays a part bc it’s like seeing all your friends getting something and u not having it. I mean the amount of times I’ve seen ppl buy the tapes and cds who don’t own a machine to play them on! At the same time it’s their money to use how they want and the more they buy, the more elaborate shit Taylor can keep doing.

This is nirikins, was around a lot in the party days. Henri didn’t actually punch him, he shoved him out the way (now that I look it up again!). They h8ed him bc he always knew where they were. Then when Twitter came along he “worked with” fan accounts to send him tips of their location.

He’s got beef with willy bc willy APPARENTLY convinced k8 and the middletons to legally complain that he’d was harassing them for taking pics of them.
