If Ron Weasley Met Annabeth Chase and Nishinoya Yuu
It was a dark and stormy night... wait, no, that is not right. It was a nice night. No, that is not right either. It was a... not-that-abnormal-or-dark-or-stormy-or-nice night. How about that. Just a normal night. When suddenly, it was not. A bolt of lightning flashed above The Burrow, lighting up the dreary darkness for a split of a second.
In his room, Ronald Weasley woke with a start. He had heard a noise, a noise that reminded him of the enchanted whip that his father had brought home from the ministry, followed by two thuds. It came from outside the house. Ron grabbed his wand, tripped over, and fell down the stairs, somehow managing to not make a lot of noise. He grunted in pain. Lumos, He thought to himself and the end of his wand lit up with a pale globe of magical light.
Rustling around for the lock to the door, Ron fumbled about as he twisted the doorknob. So many thoughts raced through his mind as he stepped outside with his wand held out in front of him. He walked silently through the grass, searching for whatever it was that made that noise. Two figures sat up. Ron gasped, stumbled backwards, tripped over (he is very clumsy), and fell on his arse. He could only see the silhouettes.
One was of a short (was he? Ron could not tell because of his hair) boy wearing a bright orange outfit with blue or black accents (Ron could not tell because of the dark), with extremely spiky dark hair and a little orange bit hanging down at the front. He looked... interesting.
The other had curly blonde hair, pale under the moonlight. Her stormy grey eyes flashed as lightning lit up the dark once again. A bright orange t-shirt — why was she matching with the other guy? Was she trying to look like a traffic light? Even though she was taller than the other orange guy (by like 10 centimetres).
Ron was confused. He knew he had nothing to do with those people – surely, he had no orange T-Shirt. Who were these people who just dropped from the sky and landed at his door at the ungodly hours of midnight? The short one stood up and Ron stared. Why was he wearing knee pads?

Percy was utterly confused. Annabeth just evaporated in the middle of the storm Percy accidentally created – she was just gone, disappeared in a flash. “Annabeth would never do anything illogical; she’s not the daughter of Athena for nothing, after all.” Percy thought. He ignored the idea that Annabeth was in danger as she always knew better than Percy – she would not get herself into trouble, and even if she did, she always managed to get out of it. Well, Annabeth got them out of Tartarus, and Percy would trust Annabeth with his life.

Daichi rubbed his head. “ねえ! Hinata! Nishinoya はどこへ行ったの? 私たちは考合の真っ最中です! (Hey! Hinata! Where did Nishinoya go? We’re in the middle of a match!)” Hinata was also confused. It was as though the universe had just gone slurp and eaten Nishinoya. This was not good. And Oikawa was serving...

“Who, the bloody hell, are you?” said Ron. Annabeth and Nishinoya stood there confused. Looked like they did not know squat.
“According to Hecate’s orders, you better go with us. I am Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena. I do not know who he,” Annabeth pointed to the shorter boy next to her, “is. He just appeared in the middle of nowhere, it seems. So did I.”
“(Translated from Japanese) Hey! I am Yuu Nishinoya! Libero for Karasuno High School Volleyball Team! Who the heck are you?!” Ron was standing there, totally baffled. Annabeth understood everything he said. She was confused and stared at Yuu for a good while.
“I repeat my question, who, the bloody hell, are you?” said Ron.
“Yuu,” replied Nishinoya.
“No, not me, you!” Ron asked again.
“YUU!” Nishinoya spoke again.
“I think Yuu is his name,” Annabeth said, frustrated, “it’s Japanese. I’m guessing he can’t speak English well.”
“¿Hablas inglés?” Ron asked.
“That is not Japanese, that’s Spanish! Why would you expect him to know Spanish when he doesn’t even know English?” Annabeth sighed. How could she work with these two idiots? They didn’t even speak the same language! She put her palm to her head and sighed again. She looked at the sky. If only Percy was here, then I could work. She didn’t have that blessing. Well, she would just have to work with what she had.
“Oi! Morons!” Annabeth shouted. “Once you’re finished with your dumb argument, maybe we could find a solution!” Nishinoya and Ron looked over. Ron had a very “how-is-this-my-problem?” look on his face. Nishinoya didn’t speak English, so he looked like a duck that had forgotten how to quack. Annabeth sighed and switched to Japanese. “あなたがあなたの議論を終えたら、多分私たちは家に帰る方法を理解することができます!(Once you’re done, maybe we can figure out how to get home)” Nishinoya bowed, said something Ron couldn’t fathom, and then looked at Annabeth and gave her a thumbs up and a wink at the same time. Annabeth put her palm to her head and sighed.
They all wore different expressions as they trudged through the forest. Annabeth was wary, knife drawn. Ron also had his weapon drawn, but he was terrified. He kept muttering the word Spiders under his breath. Nishinoya was running ahead of all of them, laughing, clearly having fun. That was when their trial chose to present itself.
A dragon jumped out from behind a tree. Ron squealed and Annabeth got into fighting stance with her face serious. Nishinoya gasped, his mouth wide and his eyes glowing. “ドラゴン! (Dragon)” he said.
“Nishinoya, Ron, stay back! I’ll deal with it!” hollered Annabeth.
“I can help! I can do magic!” yelled Ron. Annabeth looked at his broken wand. Ron looked at it too. “Oh. Whoops.” he said, and Annabeth gave him a look. Annabeth leapt at the dragon, yelling as she went.
---
Precisely thirteen minutes and sixty-six seconds later, Annabeth walked back to the boys, who had been watching. Ron stood up. “That was awesome! How the bloody hell did you do that?” Annabeth sat down her weapons and smiled.
“非常にすばらしい! あなたが素晴らしいです! (So awesome! You’re amazing!)” said Nishinoya. Annabeth grinned.
“Oh look! The sky is opening up! Alright Noya, time to go home!” Noya did that duck-that's-forgotten-how-to-quack look again. Annabeth rolled her eyes and switched to Japanese. “家に帰る時間. (Home time)”, she said.

Annabeth woke up in her bed with Percy standing next to her. “Where were you?” He asked. She smiled.
“Elsewhere.” she said.

Oikawa’s serve flew over the net. Daichi couldn’t get there, and the ground was open. Just as it was about to hit the ground-
Whoomph
It came straight up, and who was standing there, grinning, arms held out in receive position- but Nishinoya Yuu.

Ron woke up to the sunlight streaming in through the window. He walked downstairs to the sound of his mother cooking. “Nice sleep dear?” she asked. Ron just grinned.
