Yes! My own AU.

It’s been four months, but I had to do some illustrations! I’m so sorry, really. I hate being this slow.

All of them are silly and cartoony, because let’s be real — if I tried to fully color them, I’d die of old age before finishing even one 😩

Besides, cartoons are way better for expressions, and I want my AU to lean heavily into humor. Ideally, I’m aiming for a dramedy with a generous helping of dark humor. Definitely not PG. The rating was inevitable — the main character is YoU kNoW wHo, after all! Honestly, this story will probably collect most of the AO3 warnings like Infinity Stones… and yet yes — it’s still a comedy. Somehow.

Now to the premise!

I won’t pretend it’s original. Probably you've read parts of the same idea in one fanfic or another. But I want to resurrect diary Riddle right after Chamber of Secrets and drop his self-absorbed ass smack into the Golden Trio’s orbit.

How did this even happen?

Well… thanks to Professor Dumbledore’s "brilliant" idea — which, mind you, was meant to go in a completely different direction — we now have… Thomas 😅

And just like that, Tom found himself in 1993, babysitting the most chaotic three little gremlins Hogwarts has to offer.

I drew a few of their interactions:

Truth be told, there's so much potential here my head is about to explode. And it’s not just the Trio. There’s a whole bunch of other characters to throw into the chaos — Ginny, Malfoy, Slytherins, the professors, Snape, McGonagall… and Albus, obviously.

A few spicy facts to consider:

1. The original Voldemort is still alive.

Yep. In my AU, there are two of them. Imagine Voldemort’s face when he finds out one of his Horcruxes has gone rogue lol

2. I’m convinced Dumbledore would’ve dragged Slughorn back to Hogwarts early

— purely so Tom would have at least one familiar face from the old days.

3. Nagini.

She’s an entire storyline by herself. My plans for her are so big, her ridiculous face has been my profile pic this entire time. And yes, she will be smuggled into Hogwarts. Anything to keep our boy from going full psycho.

4. Time period clash.

Thomas was born in 1926 — and now he’s in the 90s. Sure, the wizarding world isn’t known for being modern, but wait until one of the Trio drags him to actual Muggle London.

5. Yes, he’s overpowered.

Because I’m a weak, shameless simp 😭 BUT! Don’t worry — his powers are severely nerfed by an extensive collection of blood oaths, binding enchantments, curses, and the combined paranoia of Albus, Minerva, and Snape. No one’s letting a murder-happy dark lord just casually stroll around Hogwarts unsupervised!

6. Let’s talk mental stability. Or lack thereof.

Any good Tom-centric fic must address the question: how unhinged is he? And the answer is: completely feral. But that’s the fun part! His redemption arc will be sweet, charming, maybe even heartwarming… until just when you think he’s reformed, he turns around and unleashes a good ol’ blood massacre right before your eyes. Because of course he does. 😒

And that’s basically it!

Thought it will be shorter, but oh well — it is what it is. To be honest, I really want to do something with this idea, but with my current drawing speed, it’s basically a Herculean task. Maybe I’ll alternate between quick, simplified arts from this AU and full-blown illustrations. We’ll have fun with it together 😌🎨

Hello guys! Long time no see! I know It's been a month and a half since I last posted and it is time for a new artwork and all buuuuut... ... Guess who decided it would be a good idea to paint three fully rendered pieces for just one post? Yep, that’s me! I have no idea why I thought it was a smart choice, especially since I draw like a sloth, but it is what it is.

The good news is, I’ve already finished two, and there’s only one left to go! Weee! 🎉 AND I’ve got a timelapse for you, starting from scratch

Sorry, lineart mostly because It's not Adobe I'm used to work in. It's another app I installed because I needed it's tools for background lining. (these old lady's hands are shaking with age, haha). It turns out it has a timelapse feature, so I condescended to give it a try. I managed to get through the lineart but when It got to painting, I mixed up all the hotkeys several times, my arse burned down and I rage quit lol.😂

This artwork is gonna be the last of the three I've planned. Gonna paint it soon (I hope soon lol)

I’m thinking about posting more simplified, sketchy artworks—maybe even comics about his Majesty’s mundane and early years. As I mentioned in a previous reply, I pretty much live in my own AU, which is mostly about him. Eh… we’ll see if I manage.

the way you draw tom's eyes are so entrancing and dark - it hooked me immediately

They say the eyes are a mirror to one’s soul. Now, imagine the size of the demons dancing in his. 👀

I truly spend a lot of time painting his face—the sight, the expression. I generally think that looking at him should enthrall you to your core. Not just because he’s a good-looking mf, but because the instant legilimency is seeping under the viewer’s skin. Kind of my headcanon… or canon? Idk. :D

But I love that people picked up on the idea—it means I did my job well. uwu

I work only in Photoshop, using a regular drawing tablet and PC. The brushes I use are a mix of different ones I’ve collected from various artists while learning digital art. Sorry, but I don’t remember all the packs they came from.

The only pack I can recommend is the latest one I bought—Bo Chen’s brush set. You can purchase it on ArtStation. It’s very useful for rendering, and I use its brushes quite often!🙂

I really love how you draw Tom Riddle, and it reminds me a lot of splash art. I just saw your art process post, and I was just wondering about how you got into art and learned how to draw so well. I wish I could draw like you.

My first art-banger happened in kindergarten. For some reason I used to draw a fox couple - a female fox bride and a male fox groom. And all the kids fell in love with that drawing and asked me to copy it for them! Especially they liked a female fox with a wedding veil. I have no damn idea why I drew two foxes getting married. Looks like I used to be a little furry lol. 😅 Ta-dah! My Kindergarden Magnum Opus!

This is my earliest drawing! I've been a kid, I dunno, somewhere around Mesozoic Era xD At first I drew animals only but than... ANIME happened and that says it all.

Thanks to my obsession with 'Chinese Cartoons' I started drawing people somewhere in the middle school.

It was nothing serious, just a hobby. I had only a bad quality paper and a pencil for that. I used to draw during my school classes, on breaks, at home, riding a mamont - all the time!👀

I got a tablet quite late. And as a true weeb I began to explore the world of digital art from SAI. Saying it was a disaster is saying nothing. I got tilted so hard I gave up drawing for years (all my university years to be certain) until...

...Until I got into some FaNdOm that should not be named.

Harry Potter fandom isn't my first fandom. It's actually the third (The third where I act as a creator. The fandoms where I've been just a consumer are innumerable). The second fandom is irrelivant because it was just a passing fancy. ...But the first...

I won't go into detail but it was... ah...quite an ordeal to be in here. Yet, exactly this experience was the starting point for my double down into art. SAI was ditched to oblivion during that era and from now on I use Photoshop only. After that I've never stopped drawing thus improving.

Aaaaaaand years since here I am! 😗

I have no art education and between my fox wedding masterpiece and my late arts there are only years and years of drawing. To improve, drawing literally should be your past, presence and future. 🐍 That's a mantra and sadly the only working advice I can give. If you want to learn to draw - draw!

I'm really sorry If you were curious in some tricks I use, but I'm so conservative my pipeline is basically: 1) Draw some shit 2) Continue fixing it till it stops being shit 3) Profit if you managed\Get tilted if you didn't. xD

Ah, also at first he had red sheets but the colors were disgusting so I changed everything.

Nagini was a nigtmare and took the most of time! I have never rendered snakes before. I tried to cheat, I swear! Some photobash or whatever, but my arms grow from my arse so I ended up doing everything by hand like a sad loser I am lol.  My husband joked that nagini might look like this at the end 👇 (I really hope she doesn't)

All because I continued getting my hand in painting her scales and each part of her body got better than the previous. P.S. I think I might do some other art processes for my new artworks because I myself enjoyed wathicng how my doodles are turning into something that people could call an art 😅 P.S.S. New artwork is already in the process but gonna take more time (Yes, more time than it usually takes haha). There are some trips I have to take soooo... P.S.S. Weeee! What would your interpretation of Snake Face Voldy be like?

He would be snake face Voldy I guess 😂 Ah, I'll inevitably come to the idea of drawing Baldymort ona day but for now I didn't have enough of young handsome Tommy yet 🙂 Generally, I think I would take films as a main reference but would have focused on making him more gaunt.
