Happy Pride! This was a quick one, I damn near forgot! I'm new-ish to pride having been closeted throughout my teens; not for lack of support or safety, but rather internal conflicts. Even now I'm perennially shy about expressing my attraction to men as a man, and it's not info I tend to volunteer. So I am forever in AWE of anyone who has the strength to be seen, to be visible and vocal; even if it's just a badge, something small and easily missed by most. I can't express the camaraderie I feel every time.

Not to be dramatic or anything.

'Poor tact leading to accidental foot in mouth Taka' is one of my favourites (followed closely by 'unexpectedly competent Taka in an unusual field) and 'improper' to mean incorrect vs 'improper' to mean indecent is an easy mistake to get tripped up on. Plus Taka espousing 'Uniform Policy' in a school that clearly authorises an insane amount of uniform customisation tickles me something fierce. There seem to be next to no actual rules in Hope's Peak but Taka'd be DAMNED if that stopped him enforcing some kind of order.

(additionally, looking up references for the hallways of the hellscape that is Hope's Peak was a JOURNEY. Bamboo corridor?? Bright red/green/purple lighting?? Reminded me of LCC which felt like a repurposed car park except with Hope's Peak it's a disused 80s strip club -in both cases, a nightmare to attend.)

ah,,, i mean you can look it up,, uh it's fine to ask! the post was kinda a joke honestly. ABO stands for alpha/beta/omega which is a fanfiction trope where uhh humans are born alphas (tops) betas (bottoms) or omegas (switches) and yeah. it's. something. i like to describe it as someone going 'what if bottoms were systematically opressed'. so sorry i had to be the one to tell you this.

me: yeah hifumis character has a lot of issues but i like him and think his character can be redeemed, considering he had no friends and spent p much all his time on the internet it makes sense that he may not understand that the things he says are inapproprite, also, while i'm not autistic myself ive seen several great posts about how he's autistic coded and how he may not be picking up on the fact he makes people uncomfortable. while it's valid to dislike hifumi i genuinely think he can be redeemed as a character and is just a funky lil guy.

Mondo has Really Bad Time Blindness™️ (based on a hc from the ask box that can be found here!!)

When I say his time blindness is Really Bad, I mean it’s Really Bad

He always has to set a bajillion alarms

And then he never actually turns the alarms on

Or his phone is on silent bc sudden abrupt noises are Not It™️

Sometimes, Mon gets Takemichi and/or his classmates and friends to record the average amount of time it takes him to fully wake up or put his hair up in the pomp*

*that one’s usually something he only asks Daiya, Michi, and/or Taka to help w that one

He uses that to gauge how much time certain things take!!

Even though hair spray feels disgusting when it gets on his face (from setting the pomp in place), he knows it takes less time to set than gel does

The gel feels better bc he knows where it is and he can be sure it doesn’t get everywhere

Unfortunately, there’s a time limit for how long he has to get ready for the day

Daiya is ADHD!!

His time management skills are Objectively Way Better than his little brother’s

He tries to help sometimes, and he was the one who actually suggested that Mon have people time things!!

Daiya has motor tics

His head jerks to the side and it hurts when he is Ticcing Rapidly For An Extended Amount Of Time™️

It gives him headaches sometimes, and that was part of the reason that he had to retire as the Diamonds’ leader so early

Daiya just kind of carries around this plastic comb

He can do Cliché “Biker Things” (think Grease vibes) for irony

It’s a stim now

It is Most Definitely a stim

Good Stim
