It’s glorious!

AU where Zim didn’t actually killed tallest Miyuki but instead helped her to fake her dead when she discovered that tallest Spork was planning to kill her, Zim did killed Spork cause he hated him for that. 

Zim is only loyal to Miyuki cause she always treated him well despite being considered a defective (he has always know and thinks that it only means that he’s extra especial), and she’s the one that saw his potential and appointed him as one of her main scientist.

Zim knows that his invader mission is fake so he took the opportunity to leave and went to the planet where he knows his tallest is hiding. He just pretends that he knows nothing so he can keep messing with Red and Purple (he doesn’t respect them cause he has know them since they were smeets) and when he met Dib he decided to mess with him too (he still being an asshole). 

He has a good disguise that he only uses when he goes visiting Miyuki, Dib doesn’t recognize him when he wears it and never can find where he goes and it drives him crazy. The year he disappeared he was with her trying to figure out how to save Earth when they discovered it was gonna be destroyed for external causes (maybe a huge asteroid like in Danny Phantom or an invasion for another alien species) so they decided to teleport the entire planet and they decided to do it in the route of the massive so the florpus get rid of them. (Zim did take some videos of him laughing in the toilet to mess with Dib)

Au where human Zim makes friends with Dib bcuz they both passionate about ghosts only to break friendship 3 days later due to cultural differences. Zim was raised in Mexico by a traditional family who respect the dead and celebrate Dia de los Muertos. Dib is an asshole who visits cemeteries and haunted houses to film ghosts, violating their privacy and disturbing their peace.

Idk if someone made this already but AU where Zim has a music cover youtube channel. His singing is amazing but some of his videos were leaked into the alien internet and now aliens of varying species are flying to earth because they mistaken the singing for mating calls.

Magnus Archives AU where Dib moves to England and gets hired as an Intern. He annoys the heck out of Jon but he’s one of the best investigators because he isn’t afraid to throw hands with any supernatural being that is looking for a fight.

There's a lot of College AU content for Dib but I'd just like to throw out the possibility where he's a Film Major. He'd be able to pursue getting video evidence of Zim and just use school as an excuse. Then he could turn it in as a "found footage" short film for a portfolio if he wanted.

Omg this is AMAZING!!!!!

aaaaaaugh i should be finishing the writing for chapter 8 of my fic but INSTEAD i have decided i wanted to get back into making comic things too so how’s THAT for prioritizing?  ((Still writing it tho too don’t worry lol))

Kinda spoiler-y for chapter 7 but i figured the dialog is vague enough to not give much away while at the same time the interaction being apparent enough to show just what I want to do to help this family get BETTER!!!

Everything's reversed, where Dib thinks Zim's just a figment of his imagination, and the people of the Earth are thinking "Why is this alien that could kill us all wasting his time with a scrawny kid"

Dibs 100% sure he’s hallucinating and Zim is living for making him think he lost his mind.

AU where Zim is unknowingly the Resisty's hero case they think all the destruction he did was intentional. When Zim gets cut off the Empire he doesn't notice cause the Resisty keeps sending him supplies that he thinks are from the Tallest. He continues to mess with the plans of the Irken Armada so the Resisty believes that he's on their side.

I’m 100% on board with this AU, Zim needs some friends lol

AU where Zim is not a defective invader, but instead an irken specifically programed to test how capable are the Tallest to deal with an almost unstoppable force of destruction. That's why he never gets really punished for his crimes against the Empire, but obviously no one, including him, knows it.

The control brains probably have bets on when someone figures it out/ when Zim just destroys the empire completely
