YOOOOOO! This turned out great!! I'm so honored you were inspired from my goofy ahhhh trench boys. You did a great job with the overall scene! I love how [redacted] is all dirty from the constant work, and how you referenced real soldiers to give them the "shell shocked" look. We love french trench engines in this household. They look so pitiful, and intense. Awesome work bunny! Can't wait for you to expand on their lore more!

Have a Skarloey anyway!! Been a little unsure of what sort of TTTE content to draw recently, but I saw a BEAUTIFUL picture of Talyllyn on Alamy and decided to redraw it as Loey! It really helped me practice my shading. Such a beautiful engine.

I have seen a lot of people in the TTTE fandom talk about how well Emily fits into the railway series books , but I never saw anyone draw her in an RWS style . the way I like to make things is mostly based on what I want to see , so I took this upon myself

after 4 days of being deeply fixated on this idea , I spent another 4 days threatening to hit clive spong with my bike as I drew this , she is born :) I hope you all like it

emily was originally drawn facing right , but when I scanned the drawing I decided it would be easier to mirror this scene from one of emilys first episodes :

note also the lack of the house and trees and people in the sketch , before I decided to use the sketch for a RWS style drawing it was going to be this drawing of thomas with more E2 features except its Emily with more stirling features

I chose the illustration style of the later RWS books since Emily was introduced during season 7 which is later into the model series

some of the style references I had. I should have done dalby style but I hate myself XD maybe I will draw Salty in Dalby style, or maybe kenneys

my program crashed several time from the LAYERS (THERE WERE OVER 28 just for emily ) and I had to restart some things a few times and I lost a little sleep over it and also school is starting so this took much energy

anyways thank you for reading the directors cut of shortiepunk losing it with no proof reading I love you all very much 😭
