#flashbackfriday! The only way my chair made any sense at all was to have my brother Ducky sit in it. That way I could saving him from having to walk so much. He was only a little wee one and had a pretty bad case of hydrocephalus, but was with us until he was 5 years old! I miss my Ducky Doo, but I don't miss my wheel chair! Looking through of pictures and stumbled across this. Here was Amanda's original post in 2013 after so many people told us to euthanize him. Dear Naysayers,  This boy is going to prove you wrong. This boy is living a happy life regardless of his aesthetic differences. He's already learned to navigate uniquely since being born with severe defects to his rear legs. Those legs caused damage to his spine, and would continue to until he is in excruciating pain, unless we made the decision to remove them. He's happy, playful, pain-free, joyful & a normal puppy in every other way. He will continue to inspire & educate many. He will thrive & have a full, happy life. Many, many dogs live with two legs & with wheelchair assistance these days. Every one I've ever met has been happier than you could ever imagine. I encourage you to think outside the box; remain optimistic. Dubbies #hackles - mom is comforting me, our foster Ploofy pissed me off just a wee bit. Also.... This is a great shot of my booty. One of the reasons I look so skinny is because I have zero muscles back there. No butt or thigh muscles to fill me out. So my skin sucks up to my bones. Also I basically do palates all day long so I'm a lean, mean machine. :) I'm not underfed and extremely well cared for. Moving things to a more positive note... Dad sure makes a great stool. People often ask if I ever sit down. Well here you go, I try and find things that are a little off the ground and I use my tail to prop me up. Our hearts are very sad as we had to say goodbye to little Boov man last night. We always knew his prognosis was grim, but did not expect it to end so soon. I will say that the love and care that momma panda gave him was beyond words. 24 hour care over the last few days, the only time he ever left her sight was for her to shower, and then she would snatch him away from me and hold him tight. So know that he experienced the most deep kind of love. Amanda wrote a lengthy post on our panda paws rescue Facebook page if you would like to read more. Little Boov man, you are a bright star that will forever shine.
