Oh man, I have REALLY been neglecting my art blog; I forgot to even share stuff from the twitch-con trip my partner and I went on;

I’m moving a massive chunk of operations off of Twitter and over to BlueSky, so I’ll update here too so there’s more than one place to see what I’m up to.

So I’ve been kinda Mech’Brained lately, yeah?

I’ve been interested to learn/practice drawing more of that, and I figured I’d share the sketch-to-lineart process I took with this lil’ guy. I gotta think more in geometric shapes and stuff

And just as an extra; these are just real quick/sloppy doodles I was doing earlier. Bottom left was heavily referenced, but the rest I was just trying to freehand. That “thinking in geometric shapes” is gonna be important when I try to draw like an AC or a Gundam style thing

Anyone else see the giant floating skull of pestilence in their day to day life, or is that just me

Today has had a layer of stank on it; so I get to draw myself as a Yakuza boss

And, Full Disclosure, I *was* heavily referencing this image of Vysache from Shangri-La Frontier. I didn’t quite come up with that pose and body all on my own, and I just want to be up front about that.
